Driving School
Motorcycle Rider Training, Inc. (MRT) is a not-for-profit educational institution nationally certified by the Motorcycle Safety Foundation and a certified NJ Motor Vehicle Commission motorcycle program provider. In addition, we are NJ MVC certified examiners.
Our coaching staff comes from a variety of backgrounds with decades of experience as MSF coaches. Our current staff of thirty includes female coaches, and we do have Spanish speaking coaches. You must check our "Espanol" page for classes with Spanish coaches.
Unlike other schools located in parking lots, we have a full-time permanent facility within Raceway Park, New Jersey's premier motorsports park covering over 400 acres. We also have full-time permanent classrooms that are heated, air-conditioned and have private restrooms and mini kitchens in each. Our outdoor riding ranges have covered break areas and two indoor restrooms for each range.
Each class is strictly limited to a maximum of twelve students. However, because of our size and location, we can serve 144 new students each week.

Outstanding Experience! Highly Recommended!
I would like to sincerely thank the entire team at Motorcycle Rider Training (MRT) for providing an outstanding course. The school is exceptionally well organized, highly professional, and truly committed to developing safe, confident, and skilled motorcyclists.
A special thank you to RiderCoaches Mr. Tony and Mr. Jim. They are incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and dedicated instructors. Throughout the course, they treated every student with respect and professionalism, making sure everyone understood each lesson regardless of their experience level.
In my class, there were several students who had never ridden a motorcycle before. It was amazing to see how much they learned in just two days. Thanks to the excellent instruction and encouragement from Mr. Tony and Mr. Jim, they gained confidence and developed solid riding skills.
Although I already had previous motorcycle riding experience, I firmly believe that a true rider never stops learning. This course provided me with valuable new knowledge and practical techniques that I will use every time I ride. The years of experience that Mr. Tony and Mr. Jim bring to their teaching made a tremendous difference. They shared real-world riding techniques, safety strategies, emergency braking skills, cornering techniques, and defensive riding habits that will make me a safer and more confident motorcyclist.
I am truly grateful to the entire MRT team for their professionalism, dedication, and passion for teaching. I highly recommend this course to anyone—whether you are a complete beginner or an experienced rider looking to sharpen your skills.
Five stars are simply not enough to recognize the outstanding work you do. Thank you for everything! 🏍️⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Just completed the BRC course and had a wonderful experience. Mat & Daniella were fantastic coaches who are very friendly, knowledgeable, and clear in their instructions. They both made the course fun and I really enjoyed it overall. I would highly recommend anyone looking to get their license, or improve their skills, to come take the course here.

As someone who used to ride a lot but had not been on a motorcycle for many years, I decided I needs to take a basic skills class before riding in traffic again. This class from MRT worked perfectly for me. There was many hours on the bike as part of the class and this is just what I needed.

The staff is extremely knowledgeable and they are all experienced riders. The location is private with a lot of open space (perfect for learning/practicing). You learn everything you need to know in order to start riding safely. The weather was beautiful, the people were so friendly and considering what it replaces (20 days practicing, permits and all the bs with the DMV) I think the length of the course and the price are extremely reasonable. Highly recommend taking this course if you are interested in getting your motorcycle endorsement.

My experience with this motorcycle training school was extremely disappointing.
The entire process was poorly organized and communication was terrible. I was told that if a training spot became available, I would be contacted, but that never happened. I spent my time waiting for updates and received unclear and inconsistent information.
For a company that provides motorcycle training, I expected professionalism, honesty, and respect for customers’ time. Instead, I experienced confusion, poor communication, and a lack of reliability.
I understand that scheduling issues can happen, but being honest with customers is important. If there are no available spots, simply say so instead of giving people false hope.
Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this training school. It was a frustrating and disappointing experience from start to finish.
