  I’m extremely disappointed with my experience with Enterprise during my recent rental. Before my trip, I specifically called Enterprise customer service because I needed a full-size pickup truck with a bed cover. I explained exactly why it was important, as I was traveling with my family and needed a secure place to store our luggage. The representative assured me that the truck would have a bed cover, so I booked it based on that guarantee. When I arrived at the Atlantic City Airport location, I was told by an employee—who said he had worked there for over 10 years—that they have never had pickup trucks with bed covers at that location. At that point, I was left with only one practical option: a minivan. The frustrating part is that if I had been given accurate information from the beginning, I would have simply booked a minivan myself. Instead, I paid a premium for a pickup truck based on incorrect information from Enterprise’s own customer service. Had I known the truth, I could have saved over $400 by booking the minivan from the start. What makes this especially disappointing is that this situation was completely avoidable. I wasn’t asking for anything unusual—I specifically called ahead to verify that the truck met my needs before spending the extra money. Unfortunately, the information I was given was simply wrong, and I paid the price for it. Enterprise needs better communication between its reservation center and individual branch locations. Customers shouldn’t have to absorb hundreds of dollars in unnecessary costs because they’re given inaccurate information before they travel. Overall, this experience left me feeling misled and frustrated. I expected better from a company of Enterprise’s size and reputation.

  The staff members at Atlantic City International Airport are exceptional. The customer service provided to me was superb. They took the time to answer any questions I had very thoroughly and with the utmost respect.
