I came into Mavis because I was having a vibration on my car after previously having tires mounted Darnell greeted me with a smile from the door making me feel welcome I thought I was going to pay to do a job that was already paid for but Darnell eased my mind and informed me that they will check everything free of charge now I'm back on the road that's to the guys at Mavis and the great leadership by Darnell

OMG 😳 I WOKE UP THIS MORNING TO DAMN NEAR A FLAT TIRE 🛞 I REMEMBER GETTING AIR FROM MAVIS..SO I CAME HERE TO GET NEW TIRES AND THE GUY WAS SO PROFESSIONAL AND UNDERSTANDING CAUSE I WAS SOMEWHAT IN A PANIC FOR TIRES.. Sitting here reading these other reviews makes me wonder. 1st car we took, Kia Soul for a mount and balance few months ago. Took them 4 hours from the appointment time. Cut them some slack because of the reviews and had my daughter purchase $1200 tires from them a few days ago for her 2023 toyota camry and made appointment for 11pm today 6/29/2026. At 230pm, they called and asked if she wanted an alignment while they were doing her tires and she said yes. It is now 5pm and I pull up and they are just now starting on the alignment.... THE CAR HAS BEEN IN THE SHOP FOR 6 HOURS!!!! There is no excuse for this. Why have appointment openings, if youre over booked. That should not be a customer problem. I can understand 3 to 4 hours, but 6 hours plus? I sure hope they offer her a discount upon payment because this is beyond crazy.

2 stars because the tire was ultimately replaced, but the overall experience left a lot to be desired.
I brought my car for a single tire replacement and ended up waiting 3 hours. I understand shops get busy, but I never received a single update on the status of my vehicle. In their defense, I’m not a complainer so I didn’t ask for an update either.
While waiting, I noticed a different tire had been removed and wanted to make sure the correct tire was being replaced. When I politely asked Darnell, manager on duty, his response was dismissive and I believed unnecessarily rude. I understand that tires are often rotated, but as a customer who had already been waiting for hours, I was simply trying to understand what was happening with my vehicle.
At closing time, customers were being rung up before their vehicles were even finished. When I reviewed my receipt and asked for clarification about a charge that didn’t appear to add up, I was met with more attitude from Darnell instead of a simple explanation. I wasn’t disputing the charge, I was only asking for an explanation. Eventually it was determined to be taxes, which was all I wanted to know from the beginning.
The mechanic who finished my vehicle was polite and helpful and even replaced a missing valve cap when I pointed it out. Unfortunately, after getting home, I also noticed chips in the finish of my black rim near the tire that were not previously brought to my attention.
The tire was replaced, but the lack of communication, poor customer service from management, and concerns about the condition of my wheel afterward mean I won’t be returning. The manager who checked me in, Mike was very polite.
