Taking my car to Mavis in Albany New York and haven't repairs so-called repairs done over they charged me brake pads etc over $1,000
The car never ran good after they screwed it up took it to the Nissan dealer found all the problems that Mavis did to the Nissan Sentra
They put the wrong page on the brakes they they messed up the whole works of the car I paid the Nissan dealer over $1,000 again to repair all the the damage that Mavis idiots did
I went to Mavis with the bill from the Nissan dealer and they won't give me the cooperative number to call them if they don't contact me within a certain time I'll say 7 Days from this Day Forward I am turn it over to the New York State attorney general Leticia James

Okay listen - let me start by saying that running a good business is more than executing a service. It’s understanding what the customer needs in that moment and this place delivered on all fronts. From the phone call with Kaylee, where she helped me not cry to the hug she gave me when I arrived to the book discussion as the tow truck unloaded my car to the banter with her and Brian as I got myself together, they helped me calm down and still clearly and thoroughly explained all of my options to me. Then they got me up and running quickly the next morning. I can’t thank this team enough. You all saved my entire weekend. If you need tires, go here!!!

I was about to leave a review when I started reading through some of the other reviews to see if anyone had a similar experience and I came across one mentioning Mike being discriminatory or biased towards a certain type of people now that was not my personal experience with him but I did notice what seemed like a difference in how he treated customers especially when African American customers came in he seemed extremely dismissive towards them compared to when white customers came in where he appeared much more helpful and attentive my only real issue was the wait time because I came with my girlfriend to get one tire put on the car and ended up waiting about three hours for one tire which was frustrating

There is a guy named Mike at the register who seems to be very upset when dealing with African Americans. I brought my 2020 BMW because one of my tires kept losing air, and there was an African American family in front of me. I overheard them telling the guy, Mike at the counter, that they had a nail in their tire, and he told them they were busy and that they would have to make an appointment, with an attitude, and barely acknowledged them. But when I explained to the guy, Mike, that my tire was losing air, he came outside, checked all the tires, and gave me a price for all four tires. He seemed very eager to help me. I’M VERY CONCERNED MAVIS IS GOING DOWNHILL. This has been my only tire shop for years. I have never seen this kind of discrimination.

Yesterday, as we were preparing for an event, I discovered another tire with very low pressure. They found an issue with the stem, repaired it in minutes, and had us on our way (and on time) to our event. I cannot thank you enough for always taking care of us.
