  Excellent place to get your oil changed. I got a Groupon with synthetic oil. They checked all my fluids my tire pressure. You have to stay in your car here. You cannot leave the car. I think it’s for insurance purposes. I tried to get out of my car and they kind of like yelled at me in a nice way. It was my first time there so I was not aware, but they took care of me right away and the price was good on the weekends. It was a little busy. I went to come back, but it was closed. I came back two days later.

  They always find some problem that doesn’t exist. Make up a problem based of previous visit notes that they do not even delete, so they just make it the current problem. Today I tell them I am a little over the mileage I needed to come back and they tell me my oil levels were low. They replace some cap and gasket, without my knowledge or permission, so when I inquire about the charge on my invoice then they explain some leak. A leak I took care of due to a note in a previous visit. Then can not properly clarify whether this replacement fixed the problem or was a bandaid repair.

  The day I went it was over 100 degrees. The team didn’t let the heat of the fact that it was a busy Friday before a holiday weekend impact their mood. They were kind, pleasant, and seemed to get along great. It made the overall experience seem fun and low stress. Service was quick and, they communicated with me throughout.

  Such professional, friendly and knowledgeable staff every time I visit in East Rutherford branch. No hard selling, they offer what you might need without pressuring you like so many other places do. I’ve been going there since 2023 and I highly recommend.

  I stopped by last week to have the oil changed in my truck. Of the 6-7 staff on hand, no one could figure out where the oil fill cap was located. No big woop, I hopped out and showed them. I asked moments later for the suspension and driveline to also be lubricated. No one knew what I was talking about, much less that it was included in every Valvoline full-service oil change. After a few moments, a staff member advised that no one at the store was trained to perform this service, and that I’d need to drive to a particular store location, hope a certain team member was working, and if he was, that he’d be able to lubricate the suspension and driveline. A couple days later, I popped the hood of the truck to install a new battery ground and noticed that no one at the store bothered to install a new oil filter, yet another service included in the price of every Valvoline full-service oil change. Someone from corporate needs to get to this location ASAP and do some training! That’s a lot of staff standing around not knowing what to do or how to do it.
