  Basically they “recommend” synthetic but my 2017 Hyundai Sonata with 58k miles always took regular oil before I went to valvoline. They won’t allow you use to anything else. So after waiting 15-30 minutes on the queue you find out the price you’re at the point where you just accept the ridiculous pricing or you throw away 30 minutes of your precious Saturday away and go to the $50 place by the BurgerKing on 35 in Avenel. I know what my next choice is.

  I came in for an oil change, and the entire experience was quick, efficient, and hassle-free. The team was welcoming and genuinely friendly from start to finish. A special shoutout to Teresa! Her customer service was outstanding. She was professional, attentive, and made sure everything went smoothly. It’s becoming rare to receive this level of care, so it really stood out and was greatly appreciated. Highly recommend this location, and if you have the chance, ask for Teresa. She truly delivers top-notch service!

  Very disappointing experience. The oil change was performed poorly, and the drain plug/oil drainage was not handled properly, leaving oil all over my driveway and creating a mess. For the price they charge, I expected much better workmanship and attention to detail. Unfortunately, I received high-cost service with poor-quality labor. I would not recommend this location based on my experience.

  Sarah’s tone and attitude were extremely unprofessional. As I was pulling into the driveway for an oil change, she stopped me because she was concerned I might drive into the service pit, which I completely understood. However, the way she spoke to me afterward was unnecessarily rude and condescending. She continued bringing up the pit even after the service had already begun. I came to Valvoline expecting good customer service and professionalism/mannerism, but this experience was very disappointing. Unfortunately, I will not be returning to this location.
