We made an appointment for an oil change at 10:00am. It was noon time and the car hadn't moved. We took back our keys and left after wasting 2 hours, That's not what I call service. Horrible.

They wanted to charge me $120 for an oil change on a Toyota Corolla. Everywhere else charges around $40–$45, $50 max. They said it would be $120, like it’s a Mercedes or a Lamborghini. That’s absolutely crazy.

I have always had good experiences at this Mavis, which is why what happened during my most recent visit was so shocking and disappointing.
I came in to purchase two tires with my significant other and was helped initially by a young employee I hadn’t seen there before. I believe his name was Sean. While we were there, I clearly heard him tell another manager, “I don’t help those kinds. Absolutely not.”
As a Black woman, hearing those words was heartbreaking and completely unacceptable. There is no place for racism, discrimination, or bigotry in any business. If it hadn’t been for Tommy, I would have walked out and taken my business elsewhere. You could clearly see that Tommy was just as appalled by the comment and immediately stepped in to help us.
I want to sincerely thank Tommy for treating us with the dignity, kindness, and respect that every customer deserves. He remained professional, friendly, got us taken care of quickly, and had us safely back on the road. 5 stars for him. Employees like him are the reason I’ve continued to return to this Mavis location.
I hope management takes this incident seriously. It’s 2026—there is simply no excuse for racist behavior or comments in the workplace. Every customer deserves to be treated equally and with respect.
