There’s not enough parking while you’re checking in which resulted in a heated conversation with another customer. Decided to leave as there was no where for me to go.

Brought my car in after another Mavis Discount Tire location gave me the runaround with a TPMS failure issue and misdiagnosing why one of the four tires they put on my car just 3 weeks earlier was losing air. Brought my car to this location and experienced excellent customer service, excellent communication, clean waiting area. They took care of my TPMS install for free, they diagnosed and repaired for a very reasonable charge the leaking valve stem which the other facility failed to diagnose and should have repaired on their dime. They also did an oil change. They are prompt, professional, and treat their customers the way customers should be treated. Johnathan is top notch! They’ve earned my business! I will be coming back.

Amazing. We hit a curb and the tire went pop! We were able to crawl the car over to Bernardsville and right away Kaiel was on it. He saw we were in need of a tire and quickly worked to get us back on the road. We were able to get a breakfast sandwich and before we were even done eating our tire was fixed. Thank you so much for the great communication and working in a timely matter. Kaiel and his team are sure to help when the unexpected happen

BUYER BEWARE. The negligence of Mavis Discount Tire in Bernardsville almost killed us. I brought my car in to the Butler, NJ Mavis location to have 4 new tires installed, along with new shocks and struts. My car was in that shop from Tuesday-Wednesday(4/7-4/8). I take the car for a road trip to PA that Friday (4/10). I'm 30 minutes into the drive when my TPMS light turns on. A few minutes later, we hear noise coming from one of the wheels. We pull off immediately, to discover that my passenger side fender has detached and was catching on the tire as I was driving. We locate this particular Mavis location 2 miles from where we were pulled over, so we slowly drive over there. At this location(Bernardsville), we were greeted by Jonathan, the manager. Under his supervision, they removed the broken part of the fender, and told me that my two rear tires were low on air (27). I knew that was strange, considering they were brand new tires, so I asked Jonathan to check all tires thoroughly because I had a long trip ahead of me. He assured me that they checked and saw no damage. He told me I was safe to drive. I pull out of the parking lot, and immediately hear a grinding noise. Turns out they did not remove enough of the fender and it was still catching on my tire. The mechanic takes my car again and cuts more off, then sends me back on my way. I get back on the road with no more noise, but 40 minutes later, the TPMS light returns. We pull into a gas station and discover that my rear right tire was at 19 pounds. We fill it with air and wait 10 minutes, recheck, and it was already losing air. Clearly, the tire was damaged and unsafe to drive on. We had to put the spare on in order to make it to our destination. What should have been a 3 hour drive took us almost 8 hours due to the negligence of Mavis Discount Tire. The next day, I call the Bernardsville location and speak to Jonathan the manager. He apologized profusely and admited that "they should have done more to check my car". Despite assuring me that they checked and confirmed the tires were safe, they did not do anything beyond checking the Tire Pressure. He told me he would be escalating the situation and calling me back. To this day (4/22), I haven't heard back from Jonathan. I take my car to A THIRD Mavis Location in York, PA to get my tire addressed. They informed me that the valve on my back tire was leaking air and needed replacement. How could the Bernardsville location have missed this issue? The worst part is that Jonathan would not let us leave his shop without insisting we leave a 5-star review on Google, and encouraged us to tip his staff even though they were not charging to check my car. I put my trust in this location, and they put me back out on the road knowing full well that they did not inspect the tires as they should have. I could have been killed had that tire blown out while I was traveling at highway speeds. Yes, the incompetence began with the Butler, NJ location not installing my tires correctly or replacing my fender adequately, but Bernardsville should have seen their errors immediately. (See the Mavis Discount TIre Butler NJ review section for my full story) After multiple phone calls escalating this entire matter with Tim Batista, and a further escalation to Pat Holt (Regional Director) I was refunded partial cost. This was after they initially told me there was nothing they could do except pay for 1-hour of labor for an outside mechanic to look at my car. After refunding me, I was told that this was Mavis' "final offer" and they would not pay for any additional repairs as a result of their negligence. It is clear that Mavis Discount Tire has no regard for the safety of their customers, and only cares about profit. My family and I will never return to another Mavis, and we will warn everyone the same.
