  The windshield repair was done on my 91 year old mother's car, James the tech was very respectful and courteous to me and my mom.

  I have always chosen Safelite for years. Was always willing to pay top price for quality service and you never missed the mark. Until now. My most recent experience fell well short of expectations. I made my appointment online for a week out thinking a week lead time would be plenty of time to coordinate parts and labor. I cleared my schedule so I would be home for the mobile appointment. The appointment date arrived and I received a call that they could not complete my windshield repair as they didn’t have the part. Andre of Safelite called back saying they could have the part at their location the next day and could complete the repair the following day (Wednesday). Not great but ok. I once again made arrangements to be home between 8:00 and 5:00. I received the automated messages confirming the appointment. Waited all day. No phone call or.contact of any kind. Around 4:00 pm, I called the local shop to confirm I was still scheduled and they said I was and they would have the tech call me. No call. I called the shop back just before close time at 5:00. Andre again said he’d call me back with more info and he did. Apparently, the tech was at an appointment and had two more before mine. He wouldn’t arrive until well outside the 8 to 5 window. Two whole days of clearing my schedule for nothing. Andre was indeed helpful and we scheduled for them to be out first thing Thursday morning and Travis did indeed fulfill this promise and did a great job on the replacement. But the numerous delays were unacceptable. The value of the customer’s time in the two days expecting service didn’t matter a bit. No discounts were offered for the inconvenience. I expected more from this company that I had always been able to rely on before. Very sad. I will not be using Safelite again.
