  First of all, I was pressured into leaving a review before I left the store. That was my bad for caving instead of saying no. My previous review was a 5 (got me in last minute, quick service!). This review has been modified since I had problems once at home. I noticed my van was leaving puddles of oil in my garage and a line of oil on my driveway after the oil change. When I called Brakes Plus, they told me to bring it in that day so they could have a look. They were very quick and responsive (good!). They told me I had a cracked oil filter case and could quote a repair for me. I was a little frustrated because I wasn't having issues before the oil changed. The guy let me know it was a common failure point (confirmed by regular mechanic). I told him I didn't need a quote because I have a regular mechanic. At the end of our discussion, he said if my normal mechanic said it was their fault, to contact them and let them know so they could make it right. (Good!) My regular mechanic said there was oil all over the place so he couldn't see what was going on. They cleaned it, degreased it, and did a dye test. Turns out there is NOT a crack in the filter case. It is no longer dripping or pooling oil on my garage. But they are seeing evidence of a minor leak somewhere, they just can't currently see where it is coming from without doing significantly more investigative work. They speculate that Brakes Plus somehow made a big mess in the engine (hence oil everywhere) and now that it has been cleaned, we are no longer seeing the problem in our garage. There is no longer oil pooling, even after driving a few hundred miles for the dye test. So, final review: I would still say the customer interaction at Brakes Plus was overall good (on my follow up visit, not necessarily the first one) given his attempt to see what was going on and then suggesting that he would fix the problem if the error was determined to be theirs. But I would say if they recommend work, you might want to get a second opinion. I would have been very frustrated to have spent the money only for that not to have been the issue.

  I was so impressed with the service I received at Brakes Plus. Jeff was so helpful and took the time to explain exactly what my car needed, without any pressure to add extras. The pricing was fair, the work was done when promised, and my car drives great. I'll definitely be back and recommend them to friends and family.

  My service advisor Mike was exceptional Needed breaks for my BMW dealer said I needed front and rear brakes but Mike showed me that I only need rear Got brakes and fluid flush for what dealer wanted for brakes only Would definitely recommend this place

  I recently replaced my own slotted rotors and brake pads and was experiencing some vibration in my steering wheel while slowing down. Chase not only listened to my issues, but wanted to experience for himself my issue by test driving my 2012 Tundra. We both came to the conclusion that the company my rotors came from may be warped. Chase got me an appointment early the next day, the Technicians completed an inspection on my front rotors and confirmed my suspicions. Big thanks to all, and now new rotors are on the way!

  Wonderful people to work with! After hearing an unexpected clunking noise, I realized my rotors and brakes were in an extremely poor state. They quoted me a reasonable price, but since it was a surprise to me it was a little bit out of my price range. They were concerned for me to leave with the brakes in such an unsafe condition, so they asked about my budget, and quoted me something I could afford. I couldn't ask for more flexible, friendly people who truly care about the person as well as the state of the car!
