  Eppley is a nightmare at the moment but it was worth the trek to your car lot. Smooth as can be and the car was amazing! Return was a breeze! Thanks for a great experience in Omaha!

I have been with National for years and many reviews have been earned due to EACH one of the representatives at both the Omaha Eppley Airfield and Washington Reagan airport representatives helping me with a kind smile each time! Today, I want to especially thank Tyler the Manager at the Omaha Eppley Airfield location for going above and beyond to help me. He was professional, patient and kind and I wanted to personally thank him.

  I have rented from National in the past with zero issues. This time, I was renting a vehicle for a 6 day road trip and opted for a Premium Elite SUV. The app shows the vehicle features as very basic options but I figured that was just a generic thing to advertise. I showed up Wednesday to start my reservation and was given the option of one vehicle, a Genesis GV80. I don't have other options so I take it and start my road trip. DO NOT, if you value comfort, rent a GV80. The bolstering of the seat was squeezing my lats and my tailbone was throbbing within an hour. I was headed South and it was cold when I left Omaha, so I had not tinkered with any of the amenities. As the heat increased from traveling, I realized there are only heated seats and not ventilated. What kind of "Luxury" midsize SUV in today's market doesn't have ventilated seats, well apparently this one. I made it to my destination, with a hot butt and back. I contacted the 800 number and was on hold for almost 20 minutes when an agent finally came on the line. Unfortunately, I couldn't understand a word 'Sameer' was saying and the last thing I thought I heard him say was something about sending me a text message that I could follow the prompts and see about swapping vehicles. A text never came, but a call from Enterprise in Omaha did; however, I was already in Phoenix. That agent told me to just go to the airport and 'see what they had'. All I wanted to know was what they had in stock and if they could set it aside. I found the local number and the female agent said they cannot hold a vehicle and refused to even let me know what they currently had. We were in town for multiple baseball games and I never did find the time to go look at their inventory. I drove the same miserable vehicle back to Omaha a day early just to be done with the whole thing. How does my 2018 SUV, not even a top of the line trim, have hand over fist more amenities than a brand new vehicle, let alone a Genesis. Genesis is the luxury brand for Hyundai, but my 2022 Palisade is 10x more comfortable to drive and has heated/ventilated seats and adjustable bolstering. I wish they would have had at least another option for what I paid for; instead, it was all midsize and compact cars. I've been a Emerald Club member since 2022 and have unused reward days, but it may be time for a change.
