  I am always so pleased by my service here. Alan is wonderful and easy to work with and is very knowledgeable and informative. They are clear with me about what I need and what can wait. They go above and beyond to care for their loyal customers and I will keep returning for that. Thank you!

  I highly recommend this place for not only muffler work but anything car related. Marty and Alan did a great job explaining what needed done with a full descriptive inspection of the vehicle. Alan was very friendly offering a ride if needed while I waited. My muffler had fallen completely down and was dragging on the ground. I got a whole new muffler and a oil change done at a reasonable price. Very good service from the house of mufflers!

  They have the worst service ever in Omaha. They ignored the actual problem I came in for and charged me for things the car didn't need. Then, when I went to pick up the car, they told me they’d found the real problem and had to charge me again for that. They just robbed me $1700. Damn it.

  Had an exhaust problem and needed a new catalytic converter. Marty was great, expaining everything, not making promises he couldn't keep. They managed to get me in and done in less time than originally mentioned so I had my vehicle to drive back to work that night. 5 out of 5 stars. Allen was accommodating and drove me home AND picked me up. Again 5 out of 5 stars. So why only 3 stars? Well 3 days after this repair a check engine light came on. It was a Friday evening and they were closed. Called Monday and asked if the light could have anything to do with the repair. Was told they're were a gizzilion reasons for the light. Valid! Marty was able to get me an appointment for the next morning. The ran a diagnostic and saw that it was the "downstream O2 sensor" and would cost over $500 to replace. Asked if they could have damaged it during the repair and was told no. I've now have talked to 2 other repair shops, one being my regular repair shop when I'm home in Florida that I've trusted for years, and have been told by both "Yes, it absolutely can be compromised during a replacement, physically during the removal/installation process, electrically, or as a result of the sensor's exposure to contamination from the old converter." But instead of owning this possibility they were going to charge me to pay for something they probably caused. Can I prove it no. It's it likely yes. $513 out of my pocket. No sir, I'll wait. Granted $170 was just for the computer diagnostic testing. But have been told it should take less than an hour to fix and parts are listed and quoted for less than $100. I feel I was taken advantage of being from out of state, and other factors. I believe they should have owned this and made it right since this was no fault of mine or my vehicle!

  Our household has been visiting House of Mufflers for a few years now and would not go anywhere else, unless they told us to! Their work is impeccable, they do thorough inspections with videos and pictures texted right to you, and they dont try to pressure you into things.
