  I've been a loyal FastBreak member for many years, but I had the misfortune of having an unpleasant experience at the Budget car rental at the Omaha airport recently. I had a pre-paid reservation and when I showed up to pick up the rental I was told they had no cars available. Needless to say I was not a happy camper at that point. I had to wait at the airport for more than two hours before a car became available. Although the agent apologized, I felt some sort of compensation or discount should have been applied for the inconvenience. I believe this encounter didn't live up to Budget's corporate standard much less the term FastBreak, especially for a reservation that was paid in advance of my arrival.

  7/19/26 I reserved a car for 7/19/26-7/21/26 for a last minute wedding that I could NOT miss. I called two times to assure myself that Budget would be open at my late flight coming in around 215am due to AA delayed flight. Both call takers said "yes, we will be there till the last flight!".... LIARS! I arrived, got over to the rental area, Budget was closed. I looked at the time they'd be opening... 800am. So I am thinking I'd have to sit on the curb till then. Screw that. I went to the booths in garage and found an agent at the Avis booth. I told her the situation and she stated "oh no, Budget leaves 100am". The Avis agent immediately jumped into action and got me into a car at even a better price than what I was going to get with Budget (Budget $311 / Avis $293). Never again will I use Budget. You guys suck.
