  Everyone we worked with at Baxter Subaru Omaha was helpful and did their best to make sure we got the exact car we wanted. We appreciated how easy it was to lock down the new car price. We negotiated on the trade-in value and came to an agreement using other sources (Carvana & CarMax). Becky Scherbring was our main contact, and her communication while we waited for our car to come in was very helpful. We wanted to finance by the end of the month, so Becky reached out with updates and answered all our questions to make sure we had everything ready when the car arrived. She was very knowledgeable of the additional packages we could add, but she wasn’t pushy about selling them to us. By the time we were done with financing, it was closing time, but Becky still stayed with us to show us interior features before we drove the car home. Overall, great customer service experience!

  Nicholas and Lorraine treated me so well and were incredibly kind and patient throughout the entire process. Since I was there for so long, they even took me out to get food, which I really appreciated and thought was above and beyond. They also did a great job explaining exactly what was wrong with my car. They took the time to walk me through the issue and even showed me a video of what was happening, which made it much easier to understand and helped me feel confident about what needed to be done. Nobody wants to hear that their car is going to cost more than expected, but Baxter Subaru made an unfortunate situation much easier to deal with. I really appreciate the kindness, communication, and effort they showed me. I would definitely recommend them!

  My family and I drove down from Wisconsin in our '26 Outback to visit the Omaha area. On the way, a rear tire kept losing air. It was a slow leak, so we kept going, stopping every few hundred miles to add air. When we got to Omaha, Baxter Subaru was closed. I got up early the next morning to be at the service department at 7 when they opened. When I got there, I was greeted by Cole. I said I don't have an appointment, but hope they can help, and explained the situation. Cole was great, and understanding. He said if I had about an hour, they would patch the tire if possible, worst case, a new tire. I thanked him stating that it is appreciated to do this without an appointment so my family and I may continue our vacation knowing the car is ok. While I waited, Cole did stop back to provide an update. I appreciated the cheerfulness I was greeted with and the professionalism and understanding Cole showed towards me. I noticed that same level of service being provided to other Customers while I waited. In the end they pulled a nail out of the tire and the tire was patched.I was on my way after about an hour and a half. My family and I can't thank Cole and Baxter Subaru enough! Thank you!!

  Over the years we’ve probably bought close to a dozen new cars. Each of those purchases were pretty much the same … haggling over purchase price, high pressure to sign up for loans as well as add ons you probably will never need. With Baxter Omaha you can virtually throw all of that out the window. They have streamlined their process to the point you clearly understand from the beginning what prices are both for the price of the car and trade-in values. We were lucky to work with Carry Short, our sales person, who shepherded us through the entire process. She was very personable, knowledgeable, and proposed options throughout the process in terms of where we could realize the best bang for our buck. She truly handled all facets of the sale including those normally performed by a finance manager. Baxter advertises completely transparent pricing and to someone who’s used to the old “haggle” your way through and hope you got a fair deal this purchase was truly a breath of fresh air.

  We took our wrx in for a diagnostic and I'm very disappointed in how they went about things. We had a light on for the catalytic converter, they said that we needed to replace the entire exhaust system back to stock (previous owner modded), and then we can get the recall done. After my partner picked up the vehicle I called them to confirm how they diagnosed the vehicle and what parts we needed, the lady I spoke to which ended up being the service manager told me that they read the codes and that's how they diagnosed the vehicle. I have a few years of service advising experience, I know that plugging the code reader in is a starting point it is not a diagnostic. They did not do a pressure test, read live data, nothing so we paid them a diagnostic fee for something I could have done at home with my code reader. I already knew the codes I needed them to diagnose the cats to make sure it was actually the cats that were failing. We ended up replacing said cats and that did not fix the issue. We ended up taking it to a shop a few hours away that specializes in Subarus and we had a bad tune. Weeks later and a couple grand out the window our car is finally fixed. If it was diagnosed properly, it would have saved us time and money. I understand y'all want to do the recall on our vehicle and you can only do so if the vehicle is stock but that's not what we asked for and paid for we asked you to diagnose our check engine light.
