We bought a new camper here on June 15. We cannot get it registered in Sarpy County because it has yet to show up in the Nebraska system. We only have 30 days or pay a penalty. I called and left a message this morning at the dealership but no one has returned my call. I called back and the receptionist who answered told me it always takes 4-6 weeks for it to get registered in Nebraska. "Everyone knows that." Of course no one told us! I told her we would pay a penalty if we do not pay the registration within 30 days. She actually said it was no big deal and they would reimburse us...ya! Plus when we arrived home from Lincoln, kept smelling gas and discovered they didn't shut the tank off before we left the lot and left the hot water heater on while we drove it home on the highway. Our first time to purchase a camper and we will never recommend this dealership.

We have taken our camper in 2 times now to be repaired from things that are for 1 covered on there " warranty" and 2 things that were wrong with the camper before is was shipped here. Both times they had it for over 2 months and this second time had to go back for things they did not do the first time. They still did not fix the problems but told us they did. Whole garage was watered out in a storm as they said they replaced the whole seal. They put in a fireplace that was way to small and threw a piece of 2/4 wood in to make up the space. Replaces outside speakers and the caulking is all over the outside. They needed to move a toilet.....they moved the wrong one. We have called and been directed to a voice mail and never a call back or anyone to speak to at all times of the day. BISHS RV honors the warranty and we will be going there from now on. This place is a joke.

My experience with Camping World in Lincoln was extremely disappointing. What started as interest in purchasing an RV quickly turned into a frustrating back-and-forth filled with unclear pricing, added costs, and constant pressure to move forward before I was comfortable.
Instead of working with me honestly on pricing, the dealership seemed more interested in pushing sales tactics than building trust with a customer. Communication became increasingly frustrating whenever I asked direct questions about fees, pricing breakdowns, or realistic negotiation numbers.
An RV purchase is a major investment, and buyers deserve transparency and professionalism throughout the process. Unfortunately, I did not feel valued as a customer here. I would recommend shopping other dealerships before considering Camping World in Lincoln.

Started negotiations, they added $17k in bs add ons telling me “let me know which option you want to go with” referring to financing 😂 when I told them I’ll pass the supervisor responded asking what makes sense for me to do business with them. I told them and then I got an email with the add ons removed but then only coming down $499 that they will be recouping with “documentation fees”. Again told them the price point and let them know if they couldn’t meet that it’s ok, I’m in no rush and will look elsewhere. Never got a response.
Would love to see camping world go out of business as all around their customer service is terrible and they think negotiating is to come down to what they can recoup elsewhere and tack on bs packages. All their prices are extremely inflated. Go fine your rv somewhere else, you will definitely come out on top if you do, unless you want overpriced things.

Worst experience ever trying to buy a camper.
I actually walked away from the sale after financing was setup. During the walk through, I pointed out that the awning tracks still didn’t line up correctly, water behind the toilet and then I asked for a ladder so I could check the roof, this really threw them for a loop. Roof had bubbles and ripples in the rubber material area where the sealant wasn’t correct. I was told by the shop manager that the roof issues are normal and the manufacturer won’t authorize any repairs unless it leaks, they said couldn't find any leaks with the toilet but also couldn’t explain where the water came from, said the awning tracks issue was fine- even though you have to hit it to get it closed. They kept telling me to just take the camper and bring it back for repairs later, WTH, do you buy a new car and know things are wrong with it and bring it back later, yeah right, then it’s warranty work and goes to the bottom of the repair list because they get paid a set price for warranty work, they don’t make money from it. Then a comment was made that the person with the paperwork from the manufacturer about the roof was off so I couldn’t view it, I responded “How convenient” and their reply was, “Well it’s a holiday weekend not everyone works on holidays, you’re here so you’re not working” that was it, that little comment and the way it was said, my response was “Guess what else I’m not doing today, BUYING”. Then they still had the nerve to charge my credit card 5000.00 for the down payment even after it had been agreed not to do that until the loan paperwork was signed. They charged the card yesterday 25 May, 2 days after I walked out and away from the deal. Had to give them 1 star as there is no ZERO star rating.
Next is my email to Camping World HQ let’s see what happens then, probably nothing.
Nope not for me.
