  I just had an extremely negative experience at Tommy’s Express Car Wash in Grand Island, Nebraska. Halfway through the wash, our truck was hit twice by the vehicle behind us. When we pulled out, we realized it was a Tommy’s employee driving the car that hit us. I went inside to speak with someone and asked for a manager. The employees refused to get one at first, and the gentleman who did speak with me was completely unhelpful. I told him how unacceptable it is to load cars that close together, and he didn’t apologize once. His only response was, “It’s corporate standards, we have to follow corporate.” I explained that I highly doubt corporate wants to deal with repairing multiple vehicles because they’re being loaded too close and are hitting each other. He repeated the same line about corporate. I asked for corporate’s phone number — he gave it to me — and then I asked again for a manager. Another man came out, though I’m not sure if he was actually the manager. I explained everything, and he simply shook his head. I asked if a report needed to be filed. They told me they only file one if there’s damage. There isn’t any visible damage since thankfully I have a hitch but I am furious. Not a single employee apologized. Not once. This was handled incredibly poorly, and the lack of accountability or basic customer service is unacceptable!!! I immediately called corporate, they conveniently don't accept phone calls but it did allow me to leave a message. We will see if they call back!!!

  Twice through with the most expensive wash and still have allot of bugs on the truck. The free vacuums are fair but could use more suction. The free mat wash was great. Ran mine through twice and they came out nice. I do appreciate the free pressurized air to help blow off extra water. If your getting allot of bugs on your vehicle I've been to cheaper places that get them off better. When I was told the $20 wash would get the bugs off having to go through twice with no real difference it kinda sucks. Photos after the second premium wash. They did let me go through a second time free but it didn't help.

  When it's good it's great. A couple issues I've had are the attendant will let the cars get too close and the brush won't get the back side of my vehicle. And the let cars go through that are damaged or badly rusted which is going to lead to someone else's vehicle getting scratched.

  When I utilize my membership in Lincoln and Omaha there is always a cart with rolled damp microfiber towels and access to free shop towels. Grand Island does not offer either of these kind of confusing.
