- EEEvan2 days ago5.0Great experience from start to finish! Everyone was very friendly and helpful, and the service was quick and efficient. I had a rock chip repaired and couldn't have been happier with how I was treated. They make you feel like family and genuinely care about taking care of their customers. Highly recommend!
- CLCody LarsenSep 16, 20265.0fast, reliable, and great communication. price was very reasonable. thank you!
- CLCheryl LudwaSep 8, 20265.0Outstanding customer service!! On day three of a three week cross country trip when a truck kicked up something that nicked the windshield. We were on the highway north to Fargo. We didn't want it to turn into a crack across the windshield, so we called Safelite first (figured a national company would be better ... wrong!). Could not get in for a week and their web site was awful. Called another local (Fargo) glass company with no answer on the phone. Called Big Dog . Got to speak to a human and was told to come on in. We did and they totally took care of us. Quick and easy. Also, the nicest people in Fargo!!! Amazing experience for us. Many thanks to Big Dog!
- ACAmie ChouinardJul 1, 20265.0Amazing! Called because of their location and they were able to come out the same day to repair a small windshield chip. Super nice and friendly.

Frequently Asked Questions About Big Dog Auto Glass
Should I contact my insurance before I call Big Dog Auto Glass?
Call our local team first. Our specialists have experience working with insurance companies and can assist you in starting your insurance claim, helping to make the process smoother from the start.
Do you offer mobile auto glass service?
We do offer the option of mobile glass replacement at no additional cost to the repair.
How soon can I wash my car after windshield replacement?
After receiving your windshield repair, do not go through a car wash for at least 24 hours. It is highly recommended that you wait at least a few days, to give the urethane seal extra time to dry. The high water pressure of a car wash can loosen the auto glass sealing if it has not had time to completely cure. If you must wash your car, a hand wash should be fine, so long as you don't use a high-pressure hose. Don't worry if the forecast calls for bad weather, rainwater will not affect your new windshield.
Does my windshield need be repaired or replaced?
When cracks in your windshield are smaller than a quarter, they can usually be repaired. Any crack larger than that will require a full windshield replacement. However, it's worth noting that every chip is unique and if you feel unsure, it's better to trust the repair vs. replace decision to our team.
How long does it take to replace my windshield?
The typical replacement time will fluctuate depending on the location and severity of the damage. We'll be able to give you an estimation on time prior to the work being performed on your vehicle.
How much does it cost to replace my windshield?
We will give you an honest assessment of your windshield damage to let you know the cost prior to performing the windshield replacement. Our technicians are highly trained, certified, and qualified in the industry and are always willing to give you a fair price quote for your service.
