  When we first went there for an oil change there were a couple people ahead of us so it would have been over half an hour but we went shopping and came back later and got right in and only took 15 minutes. It's just a little cheaper than some of the other quick lubes

  I've been coming here for years and never noticed any issue. Got an oil change from them and then noticed my car was leaking something. Took it to my normal repair shop and they told me it was leaking oil and I needed to replace the drain plug gasket. I took the car back to Grease Monkey since I had just gotten an oil change there. They didn't accept accountability yet everyone in the shop seemed to know about it and they didn't charge me for the repair, instead charging it under the warranty for their work. I can't say for certain that they caused the leak, but my car began leaking oil directly after their oil change, and my regular repair shop identified the drain plug gasket as the source. Since the drain plug gasket is directly involved in an oil change, I found this especially concerning. I still need to have the drain plug and threads checked to make sure there isn't any additional damage. There were a couple of other things that aren't sitting well with me. On my original oil change receipt, they indicated that I need to come back for another oil change in 3,000 miles. I've been coming to this location for years, and my previous oil-change receipts have never recommended that I return in 3,000 miles. This was the first time I've seen that recommendation, even though I was getting the same type of oil. A full synthetic oil change for my car lasts much longer than that, so it's very odd that they are telling me to come back much sooner than needed. Given everything else that happened during this visit, the sudden change in the recommended interval raised additional concerns for me. They also put on the receipt that they checked things that they never usually check, such as my closed transmission. In the past, they have not checked it. They just put "sealed" on the receipt because it's a closed transmission. This time, they put that they checked it which feels inaccurate. I was also told in person that my battery was reading a little low, yet my paperwork says good. If it had just been that I had to come back to get a minor fix after the oil change, I would have been happy to come back; however, everything together makes me lose confidence in this shop. I will not be bringing my car back here.

  Service is usually quite fast and very reliable. I come here every time I need an oil change, and they never disappoint.
