  We stopped in to this dealership for the first time and were greeted by a young new-hire salesman, Alex. He was wonderful, and the entire team was highly supportive. We narrowed our search to two vehicles. One was sportier, but smaller, and lacked some of the options we were accustomed to. But, we were tempted. Having gotten to know us, he insightfully asked if we would have buyers remorse a couple of months later. He was right and we went with the other car that truly fit our longer term needs. Thank you.

  My scheduled appointment went great! Chris Haynes was able to hear my vague description of the issue at hand and immediately knew what was wrong. The tests revealed more, of course, and I got the services I needed done the same day while I was provided with a loaner vehicle to help meet my needs for the day. The on-site auto technicians were extremely thorough with the tests they completed as part of my service and the complimentary car wash was such a nice add-on. It was the most positive and efficient experience getting my Subaru serviced! I continue to be very pleased to be associated with this brand.

  Capital Subaru of Greenville, NC went above and beyond to help me with my repairs. They went out of their way to contact Subaru and then covered me eventhough my warranty had just expired (by both mileage and time). Their customer service is beyond compare. They saved me literally thousands of dollars, when they didn't have to! They even gave me a new Subaru loner car while mine was being serviced! I sincerely believe they did more for me than any other car company would ever do in this money grabbing economy. I will be forever grateful and a Subaru customer for life! And if you're not... you should seriously, really, seriously consider it as your next car! You'll be glad you did. This is my 3rd Subaru. My first one had over 250,000 miles before I gave it away to a friend for his kids, as they are one of the most safest and dependable cars on the road! Look at Subaru go!

  Came in with an issue with my Subaru Crosstrek that had occurred from maintenance at another shop. Called the night before, and even though they were booked up, I explained my issue and they were still willing to make room for me. Chris was the service manager, who kept me up-to-date on the progress of my vehicle the entire time I was there, and they ended up fixing the issue. The sales guys were nice and checked in on me every now and then to see if I needed anything, and the service department here is as good as any you will ever come across. If you’ve got a Subaru and you’re anywhere within an hour of Greenville, this should be the only place you ever visit for sales and maintenance. Can’t recommend this place enough, they earned my business for the foreseeable future yesterday. Also, they have the strangest coffee machine I’ve ever seen, but it actually makes really good coffee, so 6 stars lol.

  Please be careful when purchasing a USED vehicle from Capital Subaru. I got my car from them in June 2025, and today I found out that the transmission is gone and the vehicle needs another transmission. I did my part with maintaining the vehicle, including keeping up with my oil changes and taking care of it. Looking back, I do take responsibility for rushing into buying a car because I needed transportation and not doing enough research beforehand. The Uber driver who actually took me to the dealership that day even warned me not to purchase a vehicle from there because he had heard bad things about the cars they sell. I didn’t listen because at the time, I really needed a vehicle. Now, today August 2026, I’m dealing with a major transmission problem while still owing around $14,000 on the car. I even called Capital Subaru to ask about trading the vehicle in, and the salesman asked if I could put another $3,000 down. I wasn’t willing to put another $3,000 down after already ending up in this situation with a vehicle I purchased from them. I’m not writing this review just to bash the company. I’m writing it so somebody else can learn from my experience. Especially for women who are independent and may not know a lot about cars, please bring someone with you who knows about vehicles or take the car somewhere you trust for a full diagnostic/pre-purchase inspection before you sign anything. Don’t rush just because you need a vehicle. I wish I had done that myself, because now I’m stuck with a car that needs a transmission and approximately $14,000 that I still have to pay in order to protect my credit.
