  I was in the area and called the kernersville location looking for Josh. Found out he was here and decided to go to him. And I'm glad I did! As usual I received the best customer service and to see that it's either here or there, to get the same great experience every time is rare! I will certainly continue using Express Oil Change for all my automotive needs and thank you for keeping my family safe!

  As a student Athlete here locally at Wake Forest University, I had the pleasure to work Mr. Dalton & Mr. Eddie & Mr. Issac! These 3 amazing gentlemen were respectful, handled my car with care and had great customer service!! Would trust these guys any day to handle my Vehicle.

  Had to give 1 star to even review, but should be 0 after I was told I needed front brakes on my Nissan rogue. Even shown on a plastic stick that I had less than 1/4 in of pad left. Was quoted close to $500! Told them no thanks, and a month later took car to Yadkin Car Care after being quoted around $200 for brakes. Anyway, mechanic came back and said I still had over half of brake pads left and didn’t need brakes! Express Oil lost my business for 2 vehicles that day! Makes me wonder if I would have told them to change, if they would have just charged me and not even put new brake pads on since I didn’t need to begin with! Women especially need to beware! Makes my blood boil knowing this business operates in such a crooked manner!

  I have been bringing my vehicle to Express Oil Change for more than two years. The technicians have always been friendly and helpful. Their prices are very reasonable and I have never felt like I have been over-charged or had services recommended that we're not needed. It is nice that they recognize me when I bring in my vehicle - feels like a hometown mechanic shop. I appreciate the honesty of this company and will continue to bring my vehicle to them for regular maintenance and service repairs.

  I was referred to this location by the location on Robinhood rd. I typically use the Robinhood road location and have for years. They are fantastic! They were unable to complete a break job for my car due to it needing a specialized part that they did not have. The Robinhood location called the University location who agreed that they would be able to do the break job. I went the next day, explained the situation and they proceeded. Every staff member was very kind, courteous, and accommodating. The mechanic recommended an add-on service, which I agreed too based on my total budget for the job. After almost 3 hours of waiting, I was informed that this location also did not have the correct tool to be able to complete the brake job. They were kind in giving the news, but this is still frustrating given the amount of time I was waiting. Understandably, they still charged me for the add-on service, but this is not something I would have agreed to if I knew that the great job could not have been completed. It was not purposeful, but it still felt like I had been misled. When I received my car back, I noticed that a drink that had been in a backseat cup holder (and was very secure) had been spilled all over the backseat (and the cup itself was broken and on the floor). One of my seat covers had been ripped and the paperwork from the job (the store’s copy) had been left in the car. In addition to having wasted three hours, I have now had to spend an additional 2 hours trying to clean up the mess and repair the seat covers. The upholstery will likely need professional cleaning to get it all out. I will surely stick with the Robinhood location from now on! Of note, The mechanic at the Robinhood location was able to tell me at the very start that she may require a specialized tool to complete this job and that there was a possibility it would not be able to be completed, I was so appreciative and wish the University location could have been upfront in the same manner. **** update: I ended up having to take my car to the dealership to get the brake issue resolved. While there, I found out that when this location worked on my brakes they did so incorrectly, and therefore risk the safety of myself and my family. We will absolutely not be back.
