  The entire process of having our vehicle windshield replaced was as easy as their tv ads demonstrate . It was a very pleasant experience, with the technician arriving on time as promised, even calling to give a specific arrival time. The technician was professional, friendly and knowledgeable.

  A dump truck was gracious enough to give me a rock in my windshield. I called Safelite and made an appt. for the next day. Their insurance person contacted my insurance company through a 3 way connection, they asked a few questions and by the next day my windshield was fixed and you can hardly tell the chip and crack were there. The technician Ernie was very professional, explained what he was doing, and kept communication throughout the very quick process. I am very happy with the result and the customer service of everyone I spoke with.

  After a minor hiccup on the day of installation with no molding available for my classic 1990 Nissan 240SX, I contacted the manager Dave in Wilmington NC who made it right by sending out an excellent technician named James for the replacement the following day. I honestly cannot say enough good things about James. Highly skilled and his craftsmanship was outstanding. It wasn’t an easy job in the summer heat of NC, especially on this old girl of mine. The results came out freaking amazing! Thank you guys so much! She’s going up for auction on Bring a Trailer and she needed some new glass!

  Absolutely unacceptable customer service. I scheduled a windshield replacement appointment with Safelite and waited over a month for my appointment date. On the day of the appointment, I waited approximately five hours only to receive a last-minute text from the technician, Lewis, stating that he would not be able to make it. Instead of Safelite taking responsibility for the missed appointment, I was told that I needed to cancel and reschedule the appointment myself through the website, even though the cancellation was entirely on Safelite's end. I contacted customer service, and they attempted to reach the local shop to find out what was going on. The shop would not even answer customer service's calls. I requested priority scheduling due to the missed appointment and was told that a manager would contact me. No manager ever called. Mistakes happen, but poor communication, failure to honor scheduled appointments, ignoring both customers and your own customer service representatives, and failing to follow through on promised callbacks is unacceptable. I rearranged my schedule and wasted hours waiting for a technician who never showed up. After waiting more than a month for service, this experience demonstrated a complete lack of professionalism and respect for my time. I expected far better from a company of this size.

  Had to take my new car in to get a new windshield. I was told it could take up to three hours, and was completely thinking that it would take that long. Since I had a full replacement and calibration. After about 50 minutes they came back with my keys. Safe to say I’m not complaining! Thank you for your quick and efficient work! Definitely would recommend them. Props to you for the speed of service!
