  Was easy to schedule my appointment. My technician, Tom, was friendly and knowledgeable. He took his time and made sure my car was calibrated and all safety features were working accurately. He communicated well during the process. Highly recommend. Thank you for the great experience.

  Brennon was absolutely wonderful! He communicated with us throughout the entire process and was professional, friendly, and efficient. We even ran into an issue where our address wouldn’t populate correctly, and he was very tech-savvy and quickly figured out a solution. He made the whole experience easy and stress-free. Excellent customer service from start to finish — we really appreciated Brennon and would definitely recommend him!

  Work performed was excellent. The transaction for payment was absolutely horrible. The technician charged two separate credit cards for the $1,000 deductible. That took another $1,000 that I didn't have to go towards the bill. I specifically told him not to run the card the insurance company gave them. He did it anyway and then also charged my credit card for the same bill. Absolutely none of the employees know how to do a refund so the extra $1,000 will indefinitely be on hold in my checking account. Of course, I have other bills presenting to be paid, including my credit card payment, but there's no money thanks to Safelite, so my payments are being returned at my bank and I am being charged multiple times for the overdraft. I haven't bounced a check in 2 or 3 decades. Not only have they left me with any money for food and gas, they are also ruining my perfect credit. There must be some way to make them pay for the expenses their mistake has caused in my life.

  Stay away! I have used Safelite in the past with no issue, however my recent experience was extremely bad. First, the tech was late for the appointment window. Then one of his first comments was that he had concern about the heat . There was no warning about extreme temperatures, and no suggestion to keep the car in a garage or shaded area in my appointment prep instructions. Also, had there been better communication about arrival time, I could have kept the car in the shade for 4 hours before he showed up. I asked the tech, Ward, if I should do this at another time, because the tardiness and comments already had me concerned. He mentioned that he would have slight concern anyway, due to the shape of the chip, so I let him continue and left him to do the job. He started the service, and no later than a few minutes, called to tell me he had only wiped the windshield down to clean it, put no pressure, and it had cracked. He told me he cancelled the appointment and gave me the number to call for repair, which I did not do, because I already lost faith that they could handle the job. Then I remembered that I have a dashboard cam. The tech LIED TO ME. I watched him on the video, take a little metal probe to the chip wiggling it around. After the probe cracked the windshield, he started packing up his things before he called to let me know “his version” of what happened. That probe is apparently part of their process, but had I known that, I would have never gone with them in the first place. I 100% believe the tech cracked my windshield by putting too much pressure. Safelite warns that the vacuum sealer could cause a crack, which I could understand. The crack possibly being caused by a probe however, is never mentioned. I sent a message about my experience into Safelite’s customer service site and it has been weeks without a response. I don’t appreciate the tardiness, I don’t appreciate the dishonesty, and I don’t appreciate the nonexistent response. Please look elsewhere for your windshield repairs.
