    The best in the Porters Neck area of Wilmington, NC. The only place I really go to for car oil changes and repairs. They pinpoint most of my problems on my car that gives accurate information and quotes to repair. I was told to do a review today… Tyler, Hunter, and the rest of the crew at Express Oil Change and Tire,(I apologize on names😭) are always awesome when it comes to service. Y’all really do deserve 5 stars!

    This place is amazing. Staff are friendly, and professional. Last week, my boyfriend had a bolt stuck in his tire. All the places we went to were booked, so I found Express Oil Change, called, and they said to bring it in that day. We did, and unfortunately the bolt was in a place in the tire that required a new tire, so we decided to just replace all 4 tires. They had them in stock and 2 hrs later, the truck was ready to go. This week I scheduled an appointment for new tires and an oil change. They were able to do it same day but I needed to wait until the weekend. I dropped my car off this morning and within 15 minutes, they called to tell me my drive belt was frayed and needed to be replaced. They had one in stock so I said yes. A few hours later they called to say they had checked out my whole car and I needed new front brakes, because in a few days it would be metal on metal. Again, I said yes, do it. When both my boyfriend and me went to pick up our vehicles on consecutive weekends, Hunter, the staff member whom we both dealt with gave us both a $100 coupon off of our tires without us even asking. Hunter was amazing to deal with and I am so grateful she and the staff went above and beyond checking out my whole car to make sure I was safe when driving. My boyfriend and I will definitely be returning for their top notch business. Thank you Hunter!

    I absolutely recommend taking your vehicle to this shop! The customer service I received from Hunter and Annita was amazing! They were both very informative and helpful. I was really impressed by this place and I won’t be taking my vehicle anywhere else! 😎

    Anita is great, but the positives end there. There are a lot of deceptive mechanic shops out there, and I'm not saying that's what this is, but my story might lead you to a different assessment. Brought my car in because it had died on the road from overheating, there were other repairs to the car that were needed as well in addition to the overheating, but the overheating was the primary concern due to a drive to Charlotte I had to make the next day. They completed 2k in repairs/maintenance to the vehicle, told me they couldn't find my coolant leak but they were confident I could make the drive. When I brought it back to complete my diagnostic of the engine coolant they said it was leaking into the engine cylinders and the only repair was to replace the whole engine. The vehicle was a 2016 Ford Edge 167k miles that I was fine with trading in and upgrading, I wouldn't even have paid for an air freshener had they told me this prior to completing 2k in repairs. Charging someone 2k, and then coming back after payment and saying that the vehicle is essentially scrap metal is either A) deceit or B) negligence, regardless of which it's horrible business and can't be recommended.

    Hunter and Tyler bailed me and my company out of an unfortunate situation with one of our work trailers this morning. They had me fixed up and back on the road within 45 minutes. Although this was a small job, I now plan on getting prices from them anytime one of our fleet vehicles needs something. Thanks again guys! -CR3
