  Outstanding Customer Service from Dashawn Hillman I want to give a huge thank you to Dashawn Hillman, the Assistant Branch Rental Manager at Enterprise in Whiteville, NC! My rental was unexpectedly canceled, and I was worried about what we were going to do. Dashawn went above and beyond to help my husband and me get another vehicle within just 25 minutes! He was kind, professional, patient, understanding, and incredibly quick to help. He made what could have been a very stressful situation so much easier. When I also needed to return the vehicle a little later than my original drop-off time, he was very reasonable and understanding about that as well. Customer service like this truly makes a difference. Dashawn treated us with respect and made us feel valued as customers. I will definitely be coming back to Enterprise because of the wonderful experience we had with him. Thank you, Dashawn, for going above and beyond! You deserve to be recognized for the excellent service you provided ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

  The interior of the car had a heavy fragrant smell upon pick up from the Whiteville location. The next morning that smell wore off and the car stinks like cigarettes so bad that after my drive to work I now smell like cigarettes. No one at Enterprise seems to care. This is after being DOWNGRADED because the full-size car that was reserved became unavailable. That was after going to the Hope Mills location to pick up a full-size car that was reserved, only to be told they don't have it. How do you reserve a car they don't have. The Whiteville location did say they will swap out the vehicle, but we shouldn't of had to in the first place.

  Horrible. My son rented an SUV a month in advance, got a confirmation, and a call three days before the pick up day, to confirm the reservation, but on the day of pickup (08/02/2026), they didn't have the car; they told him, the car had been damaged and they don't have another SUV. They tried to give him a different car but it smelled terrible. He will never rent from that place again. Staff behavior is very unprofessional and reflects a lack of competence.
