  Took my car in for an inspection at the George Street station. The workers were very courteous and even offered a cold bottle of water. The inspection was done quickly. I was very pleased with the service I received.

  This shop damaged my daughter's car by cross threading the bolt into the oil pan. The car lost about 2 quarts overnight. The whole oil pan needed to be replaced. I took the car to Greens Auto for the repair. Strickland Brothers denied my claim to reimburse the $600 I paid to have their mistake fixed. The response I got from Strickland said that I am required to bring the car back to them. So because I took the car to a real mechanic, they will not stand behind their mistake. The invoice from Greens Auto from the day after the oil change should be proof enough for them to at least consider that they are responsible. Why would I take the car back to a shop that can't even put an oil plug in right? This is a corporate owned shop that protects themselves instead of their customers!

  I am a regular customer at this location and typically purchase the economy oil change using the 50% off coupons offered on the Strickland Brothers website. During my most recent visit, I was with my Black girlfriend. The employee assisting us was a heavy-set man wearing a backwards ball cap. His demeanor toward us was extremely uncomfortable and, based on his behavior and my prior experiences recognizing discriminatory conduct, I felt we were being treated differently because we are a biracial couple. We specifically requested the economy oil change, which we have purchased before. He repeatedly insisted the premium service was "required" because his tablet said so. After I stepped in because of the way he was speaking to my girlfriend, his attitude changed and suddenly the economy service was available. We also had a valid 50% off coupon from the Strickland Brothers website. He claimed it didn't work, but he did not actually scan it, attempt to process it properly, or ask a manager to verify or override it. It appeared to me that he simply did not want to honor the coupon. Throughout the visit, I repeatedly caught him staring at us and giving us dirty looks. The combination of his behavior toward my girlfriend, attempting to push a more expensive service, and refusing to properly process a legitimate company coupon was extremely concerning. I have a corporate finance and legal background, and I take discriminatory treatment and misleading pricing practices seriously. In today's economy, customers shouldn't be pressured to spend more than necessary or denied legitimate discounts. I have submitted a formal complaint to Strickland Brothers management and am requesting that they investigate this employee and the circumstances surrounding this visit. I hope corporate takes this seriously and provides an appropriate response otherwise they will lose my entire family as a customer permanently.

  Dillon manages that location fantastically. Quick service and friendly. Not like any other garage/shop/ establishment around Waynesville. 5*...Would've given 10 if it were an option. Thorough inspection in 10 minutes.
