  I had a genuinely great experience at the Valvoline in Waxhaw. Jeremy, Ethan, and Derick were all friendly, professional, and incredibly efficient, and Christian’s team made the entire visit easy from start to finish. I brought in my own oil for my 2022 Kia Soul, and they had no problem using customer-supplied oil, which helped me save some money. They changed the oil and filter, checked my tire pressure and fluid levels, topped off my washer fluid, and reset my oil service indicator. What I appreciated most was how straightforward everything was. No unnecessary pressure, no trying to sell me a bunch of things I didn’t need, and the pricing was very reasonable. I was in and out quickly and felt like my car was actually taken care of. Huge thank you to Jeremy, Ethan, Derick, and the Waxhaw Valvoline team. I’ll absolutely be coming back for future maintenance and would highly recommend this location.

  Showed up 20 minutes before close. No line, just a car in each of the 3 bays that were mid oil change. They turned us away for just an oil change. Would have been out by 5 past close at the latest. Their right to refuse, but very disappointed at the work ethic.

  I have a 3500 Ram with a Cummins engine. The oil filter is accessed by reaching over the passenger tire. I called ahead to make sure that they had a $6 tool that screws onto the filter so when pulling out at the angle necessary no oil is spilled. This was not the case. They say they do not have one and Valvoline will not buy one! The result is that oil spilled onto a metal tray at the bottom of the engine. Then overnight the oil dripped onto my new home's driveway. The offer of using muriatic acid to clean it is unacceptable as this will remove the top layer of concrete. I was offered a discount of some amount (I was not told the amount) on a future service. However, why not just spend less money to buy a cheap part, have a happy customer and avoid folks having to spend excessive amounts of time and money on concrete cleaners and power washing. Really? Who thinks this is the way to manage a business?!!
