They took my car right on time and finished promptly. The receptionist was pleasant and helpful. She also gave us great recommendations for the area. Thank you!

The people were friendly. Had a vibration on my truck checked. The tires were balanced and rotated. The technician found that one of the tire rims is warped. Hillsboro Automotive is helping me locate another rim. Overall price was good and work was done in a timely manner.
I love Dillsboro Auto! Best customer service! Twice I thought I needed a more expensive repair and they came back with we do not need to do that, offered better, less expensive options.

The mechanics at Dillsboro Automotive did excellent job repairing my vehicle, stuck to the schedule, and we're thorough with the inspection of the repair and overall condition of my Jeep. I highly recommend them.

- [ ] DO NOT GO HERE! They will overcharge you!! THEY WILL SCAM YOU!!! I would leave 0 stars if I could. I have never left a review, good or bad, anywhere for anything but this place was so terrible I felt that people needed to know. They charged me $1100 to replace a non oem alternator, alone. That’s the price I should’ve received for an oem alternator. The price should’ve been no more than $750 and that’s being generous. Everybody that I’ve talked to told me I got SCAMMED. The people at the shop told me that I was getting a great deal because they gave me a 36,000 mile OR 3 year warranty on the part, which ever comes first. That’s the bare minimum. If the part they replaced breaks in that time frame that just means they installed a bad part or incompetently installed it poorly. The guy at the front desk finished off his statement with repeating, “we take great pride in or work”, like I care. Oh yeah I bet they take great pride in ripping people off, making out like a bandit, and living off the money they make from scamming people. That doesn’t include the outrageous $185 flat rate charge for diagnostics. Flat rate meaning it can wind up costing more and for what, because they feel like it. At least if they’re going to overcharge they can be polite and have good customer service but they were incredibly rude the whole time from the moment I dropped off my car to when I picked it up. When I asked for the itemized bill to see what all they’re charging me for they said no and they didn’t have it. Im telling you and promise you that if you leave your car in their hands they will find everything they can charge you for and they will and then they won’t even tell you what the charges were for because that’s exactly what happened to me. I would only recommend this place to my worst enemies. If you’re out of luck and you’re car breaks at the worst time like me, please please please just call a tow and pay whatever the cost it is to get your car to Allens Auto Repair in Franklin, NC. They’re a local auto shop that won’t overcharge you. They’re pricing is very reasonable and the fee you’ll have to pay for the tow along with whatever repair is required for your car I can guarantee WILL be cheaper than whatever it is they will charge you at this bum place. I only wish I’d know about the auto shop in Franklin earlier.
