  I come here often for car repairs, always taken care of by the nicest people! Came today to get my blower motor looked at, Chris Hammond helped me out free of charge!! Always great service!

  Called in the morning with a tire that had a severe leak due to a nail. I was unsure if it could be patched. Had to get it towed. Chris was nothing but stellar—clear, professional communication and kept me updated every step of the way. They got my truck right in, got the tire patched, and I was out the door in less than an hour. No appointment. I’ll definitely be coming back to them for my vehicle needs moving forward.

  I went in to have my tires rotated and they came in and told me that my battery was in need of replacing that it read bad battery quoted me a new one at $380.00 . I refused because I always get my batteries at advance auto went to them and they test it was almost 100% . Very upset .

  I been coming to Mavis for 12-13 years now, and have even started my teenage son coming here to take care of his car. Always professional and take care of any issues that arise. They give you an honest opinion and let you decide how to proceed without any pressure. They have taken care of my Camry since it was new and I’m over 300k miles now and going strong. Prices seem to be competitive with other places, but for me, I want to know the work is done right and if something is not right, they will fix it. Highly recommended for all those like me who don’t know a lot about cars and just want good honest businesses in our community.

  I can’t say enough good things about the team at Mavis Tires & Brakes. My family was traveling to the beach for vacation when one of our tires blew out. We managed to make it into town on the donut and stopped at Mavis literally one minute before they were scheduled to close. Despite the late hour, the team didn’t hesitate to help us. They got us taken care of, allowed us to leave our car overnight safely locked inside their facility, and even stayed until our friends arrived to pick us up before they left for the evening. That level of kindness and customer service is incredibly rare these days. The next morning, they had our car completely taken care of within just two hours of opening, getting our vacation back on track with minimal disruption. From their willingness to stay late and go above and beyond, to the quality and efficiency of their work, this team truly exceeded our expectations. They could have easily told us to come back the next day, but instead they treated us like valued customers when we were in a stressful situation. If you’re looking for honest, dependable, and genuinely helpful people to take care of your vehicle, I highly recommend Mavis. Huge thanks to the entire team for taking such good care of my family and getting us safely back on the road!
