  Mavis tire DOES NOT stand behind the tires they sell. Bought a brand new set of their GreenMax optimum sport AT tires. They couldn’t even get them balanced the two times they tried too, along with three other reputable shops attempting to balance them with no success. They determined the tires were out of round (defective). When we went to return them they refused to take them back. The truck gets driven a handful of times a month and have put maybe 1k- 1.5k miles on them shaking the truck to pieces. Place is a joke, and unprofessional, and won’t stand behind the junk they are selling, along with the services they fail to preform.

  I purchased four new tires and an oil change from Mavis, and unfortunately the service was disappointing. I paid for all-season XL commuter tires, but the shop installed all-terrain SL tires instead. They also failed to top off my fluids as part of the oil change—I had to buy and add windshield washer fluid myself just one week later. They also did not honor their military discount because we had a coupon for the oil change. They absolutely should have told us we could use one or the other, instead of forcing us to use the lesser discount. Since I did not take the vehicle in myself, after noticing the incorrect tires on both my vehicle and receipt, I replied to the follow-up email from Mavis explaining the issue. I never received a response. Mistakes can happen, but the lack of communication and follow-up was just as frustrating as the incorrect installation. I hoped for better attention to detail and customer service, but will not be using their services again.

  I came here to try and get work done for a hanging skid plate, and the staff was extremely professional. The man I assume to be the manager was extremely polite and courteous, informing me of the issue and charging me nothing to rig it back up.

  Made an apt for new tires. Showed up. Walked around the area for an hour. Came back vehicle was still in the parking lot. Asked them if I should go very another vehicle. One said yes. The other said I'll get it taken care of right now. Why do I have to tell other people how to do their jobs.

  I rented a car from Budget at RDU. The sensor on the car tire light came on shortly after leaving. It showed the air pressure was low. I stopped several times and had to put air in it. I was going to my granddaughters graduation in Swansboro NC. I called the road side assistance and was told it would take 4-6 hours before I could be helped. I was stranded right across the street from Mavis tire shop in Swansboro. I was a complete wreck and the extremely nice man David from Mavis came to my rescue. They were able to fix the issue quickly and send me back on my way and I must say the service was amazing. They quickly got to my car fixed the issue and I did not miss her graduation. I highly recommend this laudable establishment for all your car care needs. Fast friendly service by a very experienced group of employees. I was impressed that they did not take advantage of my situation and repaired my rental for a very reasonable rate. I highly recommend them. Stop by and get your vehicle taken care of by this friendly company. You won’t be disappointed. They are the best!! Tell David I said hi.
