- NPNancy PedersenApr 17, 20265.0This is my first visit to THIS Valvoline Instant Oil Change facility ~ I have been to the one in Porters Neck, NC before, but this Surf City one is a fairly new location - closer to my home. I was quite impressed with Galloway who came out to greet me and guide me into Stall #3. Galloway was really nice, friendly, respectful and explained everything element of my oil change. I should note that when pulling into the stall, Seth (technician ?) noticed that my skid plate was hanging low on one side. (Galloway explained what the skid plate is to me and how they would take care of it) Throughout the process, I watched as Seth worked efficiently on my engine and called out to Galloway what he observed in the Maintenance checks. After refilling the Synthetic blend oil in my car, Seth came to show me the full level of the oil on the dipstick, which I appreciated. Then he signaled to Galloway that the oil change was complete. True to his word, Galloway then went 'downstairs' and zip-tied my skid plate and assured me that it would no longer be a problem. To me, that was Above and Beyond!!! At the end of my visit, I met Fred...the man underneath "sea level" who took care of draining the old oil, etc. He printed out my receipt and gave me the new sticker for my windshield! All in all, I consider this time and money well spent!! These gentlemen were very professional and really nice! Not only will I recommend them to others, but they have also made me a customer for life!
