  Amazing service! Jeff and Zach at the Surf City shop should receive a commendation for the best customer service ever experienced! I had a flat tire and couldn’t get there til near closing time…but they fixed it anyway and got me back on the road in record time. They did an awesome job and could have easily charged me a lot more and it still would have been fair! I highly recommend this shop for fair and fast service! Jeff and Zach are men of integrity!!! Thanks for taking care of a tourist in a bind!!!

  Tried to contact them and their phone was not working. Went to the shop address listed on their Google results page and it took me to a fitness center. On my way to another shop I happened to pass by there shop location. They weren't able to accommodate a tire change - it's a 10 minute job and they knew I was traveling. They recommended that I to go to one of their Jacksonville locations but didn't even offer to assist in setting an appointment up. Just some all around bad customer service.

  I had a tire with a screw in it while traveling from Maryland. It would not hold any air while parked. I stopped in with no appointment on a Sunday afternoon, and was out within an hour. The service and people were great! So great, I came back a few days later to get 2 tire sensors replaced/repaired. This time with a schedule appt., and it was done within 30 mins. Clayton was my tech both times and he was very helpful, knowledgeable, and did fantastic work. Highly recommend going here for scheduled tire maintenance/ emergency repairs.

  Hello, I'm new to the area. I've worked with this company, mostly this year due to a possible transition. Please forgive errors I'm using speech to text. I like to say I was taken advantage of greatly by car dealerships that were corporate and I spent thousands for no reason at all and for what seemed to be caused or occurrences that didn't require maintenance or mysteriously occurred to cause maintenance . I'm saying this to say that working with everyone with Mavis has been a pleasure because they were honest with me . They were professional, they cared about me as a customer, and they showed human decency and kindness and operate it with an integrity. They apologize for experiences which I appreciate because that's a stand-up thing to do when it wasn't their fault. However what I'm saying is I would highly suggest using their auto shop for your services and needs whether you're a local, transient, passing through, veteran, whatever your status because I enjoy working with people who genuinely care, do not seek to take advantage of you, and provide estimates in real time and do not take advantage of you or cause a hardship given the current climate we're living in economically and at all. All of the staff are friendly , again very professional and you can tell from outside appearances that it's a family oriented environment for instance the Mavis family. The shop is practically brand new and I enjoy being able to sit in a clean environment , receiving updates and even when I got preoccupied with business calls and I didn't want to seem rude they were very patient but the point is their community oriented I can say a ton of great things and I highly suggest visiting their shop and they do go above and beyond to ensure you're taking care of or at least you know what to do next and they will create action plan and I appreciate that as a person who relies on some form of structure in the path or if you have extenuating circumstances. I didn't have an opportunity to post this review before and I completely wanted to however I was very overwhelmed so my apologies because it's overdue. They're Under New Management and I saw the difference in atmosphere, relations, customer service relations and it's just a great group of people from the front desk to the back again I highly suggest their services. I apologize for being a long-winded there were times I also arrived late because of balancing School and so many obligations including a legal one that exhausted me as a woman, professional and Veteran and they show compassion still I do apologize for that. I want to say thank you to everyone, you made this experience great you made me feel valued and you gave me back something that was taken away after being terrible experiences, i can forgive the errors it's my mobile. The company provides an excellent group of people to work with and you will be pleased with choosing this company truly. Thank you - Lily S.

  Fast, Professional, and Excellent Customer Service! I would definitely recommend Mavis Discount Tire! The entire team was quick, professional, friendly, and extremely hard-working. They made sure we were taken care of in a timely manner and kept us informed throughout the entire process. We had a tire repaired, and they took the time to show us what they were doing, explain the repair, and make sure the tire was holding properly before we left. I really appreciated that they didn’t just fix it and send us on our way—they made sure we understood everything and felt confident with the repair. The facility was also very clean and well taken care of, and they had great availability. Every employee we interacted with seemed friendly, knowledgeable, and willing to help. Overall, it was a great experience from start to finish. Fast, professional service and a team that genuinely seemed to care about taking care of their customers. We’ll definitely be coming back!
