  Will is a top-tier team member. I had a flat tire and attempted to put my donut on, but ended up breaking my wheel lock tool. Will called me, mentioned that he had the same lug pattern and a spare lock tool, and helped me out by letting me use it. He even told me I could keep it. In this day and age—especially at a tire shop—that level of service is incredibly uncommon, and I am greatly appreciative. Will has been fantastic to work with, and I truly appreciate everything he has done for me during my visit with Mavis.

  William at Mavis Tire in Surf City went way above average service after hours for me to patch a tire I needed for a trip early the next morning. I asked if he could look at the tire to verify the screw was causing a leak. It was and with no hesitation, he pulled the car into the shop and patched the tire. He wouldn’t let me pay him. There aren’t many people that would do that and I wanted to make sure people knew that William is one of the good guys.

  This past week I required service at Mavis Tire in Surf City. I was totally floored by the courtesy and professionalism displayed by all employees to customers. A special thank you to Zach who was my initial point of contact and to William for the execution and follow through of the work. These men were top notch!!

  They did a great job of repairing my tire which I thought would not be pluggable, but the expertise and efficient service here solved the problem for a very reasonable price. I highly recommend them (And no, this isn’t a fake review. I’m an actual customer - never been here before.).

  I am not local and was vacationing in town when I woke to a completely flat tire. Looked up local businesses and Mavis was easy to find, just over the bridge from Surf City beach. Spoke with a few different employees over various issues and all gentlemen were kind and knowledgeable. We had to wait about 30 minutes before they started on our vehicle, but we arrived without an appt time and they were actively servicing cars in multiple bays, so it was understandable. Once my vehicle was pulled in to the bay, everything was done efficiently and in a timely manner. Once the tire was off they immediately located the screw and placed an interior patch (designed for a permanent fix), repairing my tire which was only a few months old. The time dedicated to my vehicle’s issue was less than 30 minutes and I would gladly recommend them to anyone in the area navigating an unplanned tire repair. - J. Myers & C. Burgess
