  I have been trying to get my car inspected for the second year , and normally go around 4 ish pm due to my work schedule and also is advertised they close at 6 pm , every time I go to either location (Smithfield and Selma ) “the inspector left for the day” is it that difficult to inspect a vehicle ? , and if your inspector leaves every day at 4 you shouldn’t advertise that you provide this services till 6 pm. Or are we just lazy ?

  First time at Strickland Brothers in Selma, NC. I was greeted by Tevin, and Cody and they both asked if I wanted water on a very hot summer day. They were friendly and walked me through the process before Bobby took over. Bobby, like the others, was very professional. He communicated clearly what needed to be done but did not pressure me to make any decisions. I will be back to this location because of the service.

  These guys always check everything and top off all your vehicles fluids. Pretty standard from what you’d expect from an oil change. But they took it a step further and noticed a little leak at my oil drain plug. Guy pulled it and then compared it to what should’ve been on my truck. Truck was a fleet vehicle I got for cheap. He got the right plug and washer and put it on. Nothing extra. Also wanted to try the new restore and protect from Valvoline. Explained a little about it and recommended doing it for the next 3 oil changes if I was going to do that. Truck has 200k miles on it so I wanted to do it before he explained the product. Maybe a gimmick maybe not, we’ll see. Either way, good people, fast service, so easy. Thanks !

  PSA :If you go to Strickland Brothers oil change in Selma, make damn sure they tighten oil filter and drain plug. I took two work trucks that never use oil to them couple weeks ago, now trucks were two quarts low , checked plug it was tight , oil filters were loose on both trucks and leaking oil. One truck a new motor is like 16,000 dollars on these trucks. They almost had to buy two motors. When I call I get no answer. Not going back to them again too risky.Almost like on purpose. Not professional in my book!😡😡😡😡 Not one but both trucks were left in this condition. I’m pretty pissed! they also didn’t top off my fluids

  I had a great experience at Strickland Brothers in Selma, NC! The entire staff was friendly, professional, and very helpful from start to finish. Bobby provided excellent customer service and kept me informed throughout the process. They ran into an unexpected issue with my oil filter, but I was really impressed that the store manager even came from home to help resolve it. That level of dedication and customer care says a lot about their team. I truly appreciate their honesty and commitment to getting the job done right. I will definitely continue using Strickland Brothers for my oil changes and highly recommend them!
