- LBLinda Brewer3 days ago1.0Wow I visited the Cheerwine Festival for the first time yesterday. Now I've been to alot of Festival in my life time. But yesterday I parked here to enjoy my daughters birthday. Only to come back to see that my car was towed. Everywhere I have been for Festivals local business let you park. You would think that 1 day people wouldn't act like this and let people park. But no!!!! 150.00 to get my car out. The couple in front of me didn't have the money to get theirs out. Karma will come back to bite you.

What are the signs of a bad car battery?
Signs of a bad car battery can range from the need for frequent jump starts, slow to start, cranks or clicks but won't start, dash lights work but the vehicle won't start, etc.

Brakes work by using friction to turn kinetic energy into heat. There are two designs: drum brakes (older), and disc brakes (newer). Both use hydraulic pressure to move a piston outward. In disc brakes, the piston is located inside a caliper that houses brake pads and fits over the rotor. The friction lining on the pads makes contact with the rotor to slow the vehicle. In drum brakes, the piston moves two curved shoes lined with friction material against the inside of the brake drum.
