  I had 2 tires fail from belt separation while traveling home, I was 6 hrs away from home, this was Sunday afternoon. I called 7 other tire shops, none had my tire size on hand. The manager at Mr. Tire said he could get the tires on Monday. I left my vehicle overnight with Mr. Tire and arrived at 8:30 am when they opened and ordered the tires with manager. I order 4 tires at $250 each. They came with a free alignment. The tires showed up at 3:30 as expected. However after explanations of my urgent situation they were not installed until 7 pm. I did not receive the free alignment, spare tire was put in the back seat by me, Mavis would have installed back under truck where it belonged. The tires sensors had been reversed the front with the back. To make it all worse when I went to pay the total was $1700. I refused to pay since they were $250 tires. So the price went from $1700 to $1115 after the manager realized I wasn’t someone he could take advantage of. So now I have 6 hours to drive home. The next day I noticed front tire looks flat, I check the valve stem, which the manager said he replaced, which is standard when you get new tires. They did not replace and air was leaking around the stem. I sure am glad I made it home safely!!! So now I have scheduled an appointment to have my new tires removed from wheels to have new valve stems installed and pay to have them rebalanced. Oh yeah had to drive home without a lug nut on one of the tires due to it being stripped and tire shop didn’t replace the stud. The most dissatisfied customer ever in my whole life.   After work on 6-8-2026, I noticed my front driver tire was completely flat. I went in to see about having it plugged or patched. The new manager, Greg, was absolutely incredible!!! He got me taken care of quick and easy, repaired my tire, and even replaced my stem since the old one broke! Believe me, I work in Rocky Mount and live 1.5 hours away in Chapel Hill but I will absolutely be coming here for all of my wheel and tire needs!!! Y'all got the right man for the job!

  I am a United States Marine Corps Disabled Veteran,!! Came in for tires installed on Mothers Day. Went well, so I came back and got the brakes all around, told Greg who was at the desk to call when it was ready or anything came up. I never received a call after six hours so I called back and Greg stated the car had been ready. I get there it was $168 more he stated a caliber was seized had to be replaced. And it may have. I asked him why didn’t he call me? He states he did but I had been holding my phone all day so I could get my vehicle back. I never received a call for the extra parts and that the car was ready. ( I think he just said he has it because of my plates saying Disabled Veteran….). Since the brakes were installed there is a trimmer feel in my front tires on the interstate when driving. And the caliber was put in on the front passenger side. Greg looked at me as if I had to pay it or not get my car… l have owned a business for 30 years and this was not good business. Greg doesn’t care it’s not his Buisness. I was looking for an honest mechanic for my vehicles. I believe in preventive maintenance. I will not bring anything else to Mr. Tire on Wesleyan Blvd in Rocky Mount. I will just keep looking for a honest mechanic, if one exists….

  I was there for a simple inspection. Inspite of the big technical difficulties they were desperately trying to get fixed. They were super nice, quick, and never expressed their frustrations. Honestly, I felt bad for them. Regardless, they were professional, kind, and helpful. Thanks guys, hope everything is running smoothly now. Have a peaceful day. Mr. Mather
