  Still sitting here waiting on my vehicle, about 1.5hrs after they stated it would be ready. Attempted upselling of air filters, wipers, etc but no urgency to actually get my car’s windshield replaced. Employees are sitting in the shop area listening to music, not sure if anyone is actually working. Avoid and use a local glass shop. This place sucks.

  This is the response to the Safelite survey I received by Email on 4/24; as of today I have not received any communication from Safelite. It took three visits to get windshield replaced. Had appointment for April 18, windshield arrived broken; didn’t know till I drove ~ 77 miles R/T to store. When I asked why I was not informed, manager JK? Indicated he called @ 8:18, when I said I left @ 8:00 to be able to make appointment, he said; Do you want me to call @ 6:00 AM when I got here? He did not left message @ home so someone could have called me, & I did not have to go all the way. I gave them cell #. Next appointment Apr 20, I called before I left, front desk & JK?, nobody answered phone, I left manager (JK)r a voicemail. He never responded, Emailed or texted. I drove to store (77 mi. RT) & was told they changed appointment for Apr 22 & they sent Email. I was out of town, that’s why I give them cell # so they could contact me. They either call the house or send Emails, what’s the point of having the cell # if you don’t use it? The call received the day before the final appointment (Apr 22) was very generic, talking about mobile appointments having covered area, & didn’t mentioned appointment time/location. Pretty bad communications skills/customer service for a business. The technician was friendly, professional & informative, and answered all the questions I had. Management seems to be the problem Customer service need to be greatly improved; something as simple as a voicemail or text could have prevented me for driving THREE times to get windshield replaced. Two other windshield have been replaced @ home, they don’t provide mobile service area in our area anymore. The Safelite survey asked if I would stay with the same insurance Co., to which I responded: I will stay with insurer but don't plant to follow their recommendation.
