I rent a lot of cars because my job has me on the road about one week per month- not a road warrior- but after 20 years I've rented a lot of cars all over North America. I was having a particularly terrible week because BOTH of my personal cars went down within 2 weeks of each other. BIG problems like a cracked cylinder head on one and a transmission on the other. Disasterous. On top of that my daughter and her husband were flying our brand new grandbaby in for a visit we'd planned for months. I had a few days of rental points and of COURSE in the National website I couldn't opt for a full size or a van to comfortably fit their car seat - and OAJ doesn't have grab-n-go like at most airports - you're stuck with whatever they stick you with. It just so happens that THIS National location has something much better than most locations. His name is Kenneth. KJ Ward. I've been served by a LOT of National/Enterprise (and other brands) employees. This guy is top 3%. Both pickup and dropoff was a literal joy. Do not let him get away from you guys - or better yet, don't let him get financial backers and compete. He might put you out of business - especially in this age where primo customer service is as rare as a cop who doesn't speak to people like a dog, or a politician who doesn't lie! Yes, KJ is that rare! The time with our kids & grandson was fantastic and a short reprieve from God's sanctifying trial. I typically rent from enterprise on N. Marine because it's very close to my house but they have seen to have high turnover or rotate people - regardless, it's hit or miss there and they've stung me a time or two over the years. It might be worth the headache to go all in on the National at OAJ.

First car I got it wasn’t the greatest. Cigarette smoke. But the second one I got definitely made up for it. Tara made everything all right.
