Not only did they overcharge me (insane labor prices for very easy work like spark plug replacement) but they didn't do my tire balance correctly. I had to take my car to another auto shop because it was still acting up and they informed me that whoever did my tire balancing did not do it correctly which messed my tires up. Do not go here if you can avoid it!
- JWJoe WhiteSep 24, 20265.0Village Motors Works went above and beyond to troubleshoot a nagging issue with my 2019 Volvo XC90. Last spring they replaced a cracked evaporator core, which is a large job requiring the removal of the dashboard and several components. While the initial repair was successful and restored my air conditioning, hot air became present on the driver’s side after several weeks. They investigated and replaced the Schrader valve, which solved the issue, but again, only for a few weeks. This cycle continued through the summer until a pattern was finally identified. They went in and fully replaced the evaporator core a second time to permanently fix the issue. The additional work was labor-intensive and time-consuming but they stood behind their warranty and took care of the repair at what I assume was a loss for their business. Their commitment to solving the problem was highly impressive. Overall, this is exactly the type of integrity that builds deep trust and loyalty with a local shop.
