  Just paid the most I have ever paid for an oil change. I felt like I was getting scammed because I am a younger female and the service tech was a bit sleazy. I asked if they would fill my tires/fluids and he said he would just for me?? Not like it was part of the service?? I won’t ever be back.

  The entire staff at this Raleigh-Six Forks Road location is incredible, I specifically worked with Kaireem, Cassell, Quadarius, and Marshall. Kaireem helped me know what services I was in need of, find a price I was comfortable with, and explained everything to me in a very helpful way. He was lovely to talk to and has incredible customer service skills! I love this location and come here every time I’m in need of service.

  Will never go to a Valvoline again. The employee who did my inspection made me EXTREMELY uncomfortable. Tried to promote / get me to buy a service from his "side hustle" and was standing in front of my car, not letting me leave, until I looked at cars he has worked on (again, NOT a service apart of Valvoline's scope of business). Kept me there while he talked about how he is "investing in 10 different types of crypto" and is going to be rich. He also scammed me into putting wipers on my car against my knowledge (my current wipers were present, operable, and not damaged) so I ended up paying $100 for a $30 inspection... Overall extremely unprofessional and uncomfortable. GO ANYWHERE ELSE. I felt taken advantage of and have never experienced something so unprofessional in my life. As a woman, it is unsafe to go here.

  My wife and I were away from home visiting our daughter at her college in North Carolina when I noticed the transmission in our Chevrolet Malibu wasn't working properly so I brought it in to have the the transmission serviced. Another valvoline location had told me they couldn't service the transmission but after looking things over they told me they could service it. The manager at that store called his boss and they were able to get a tech who lived close to the location we were at to come in and service the transmission and now the car is operating properly. I was concerned about driving the car back home (Baltimore) with the way the transmission was acting when I brought it in. They whole team went above and beyond to make our car safe to drive again. If I'm ever in need of service again when near the Six Forks Rd. location I will not hesitate to bring it to them.
