- CDCheryl DeMatteiJun 29, 20265.0Called on Friday & got me in Monday for full tint on our Jeep. Looks great, matched up perfectly and it only took an hour. We spent that time talking with the owner, who was just the most down to Earth dude on the planet. We inquired about speakers when we first arrived, we were a little on the fence bc the set up we need is a bit more than we wanted to spend. That being said, 40 minutes later (and no more talk of speakers), I knew this was a shop I wanted to do business with. Just good vibes from good people. Needless to say, I ordered the sound system on my way out. 😬

I was in and out in 40 minutes, leaving very pleased with the work. I cannot recommend them enough. I have had four vehicles done by them, and have never had any trouble with their work. The manager Shaun stated that Saturday’s are always busy but if I go ahead and pay my deposit he could fit me in at 9:00 Saturday morning. I told him if Saturday is not a good day, please let me know because I didn’t want a rush job. He assured me that would not be the case. I paid my deposit and arrived at my appointment on time. While waiting for my car to be completed, Shaun informed me it’s going to be an extra $100 which actually ended up being $115.36 to be exact to properly clean the adhesive from two of my windows that was left on from a previous tint job. That clearly was not in my budget but I said okay. I was quoted $449 for the sides and rear windows but when I looked at my receipt I was actually charged $486. I ended up paying a total of $618 for a botched job. If you thinking about this location please think again. This CLEARLY was not worth the money! Since my car had 30 day tags on it, Shaun advise me to go back to the dealership to be reimbursed for my “$100” , no Shaun I need to be reimbursed for this sorry job!

Thank you to everyone who helped me through this process and anyone who reacted and showed support in any small way. ******** Title: Substandard Work, Concerning Conduct, and a Warranty Claim Returned in Worse Condition I selected this Tint World location after researching reputable tint shops in the area. The initial installation immediately showed bubbling caused by debris trapped under the film. When I raised this concern, Shaun instructed me to “wait until it cures,” despite the fact that these defects are not consistent with normal curing. I have family in the tinting industry, and I am familiar with what acceptable workmanship looks like. After the curing period, the bubbling had increased, and rips in the tint were visible. When I returned to the shop, Shaun was dismissive and unwilling to review the full scope of the issues. He briefly looked at two windows and declined to examine the rest, stating he would “assess them one by one” at another time. This was unexpected given the nearly eight hundred dollar price point. Shaun told me to bring the vehicle back on Saturday morning. No appointment time was provided. No written confirmation. No explanation of what would be corrected. When I arrived at 10:00 a.m., he claimed I was late for an appointment that had never been scheduled. He then hesitated to take the key fob and stated, “I won’t have time to do this today,” despite this being a warranty claim. I dropped the vehicle off at 10:50 a.m. At 11:39 a.m., I received a text stating the car was ready. This is not a realistic timeframe for properly removing, reinstalling, and quality‑checking multiple windows, especially when debris was the original issue. Upon pickup, Shaun provided no walkthrough and no explanation of what had been done. He stated only that he “redid the windows you pointed out.” This was inaccurate. The work performed was patchwork, not full replacement. The tint now has more bubbles than before, and the areas he addressed are visibly worse than the original installation. When asked about the remaining windows, he responded, “Just bring it back and I’ll redo it,” as though repeated returns for failed work were an acceptable standard. This is my personal vehicle. I documented the tint with photos prior to returning it, and I had a witness present for every interaction. The lack of transparency and the quality of the work made documentation necessary. At this point, I expect the tint to be fully redone correctly or refunded in full so I can take the vehicle to a shop that meets basic professional standards. There is no ambiguity about this. The work will be corrected, or it will be refunded. The outcome is straightforward. I brought my car in for a warranty correction and received it back in worse condition. The workmanship was substandard, the communication was vague, and the customer service was consistently dismissive. Tint World corporate should review this location immediately. The issues documented here raise concerns about quality control, customer treatment, and adherence to the standards the brand represents. Customers deserve better than patchwork repairs, inconsistent communication, and a refusal to take responsibility for avoidable errors.
