  North Raleigh Performance took great care of us on a tough job. My son bought his first car, a 2013 BMW 535i xDrive with the Sport Package, and decided to tackle a valve cover gasket replacement himself as his first real project. He ended up over torquing and snapping two bolts, and while it was open we found a broken piece on the timing chain guide. NRP extracted the bolts, inspected the timing chain, replaced the belts, did a full flush and oil change, and put it all back together clean and tight. No leaks, runs great. What stood out most was how they treated my son. They are BMW-only specialists, which showed in how tuned in they were to his car specifically, and they never made him feel bad about a rookie mistake on his first project. He has already been back to talk with them about other work on the car, and they have stayed responsive and easy to reach ever since. That kind of relationship is exactly what we were hoping to find. Only knock is price. We were in a time crunch to get the car back to him, so we paid for the convenience, but based on other quotes we got, it ran noticeably higher than what a comparable independent shop would have charged for the same scope of work.   Short version. There was several issues on two occasions that appeared on my dashboard. I began to freak out wondering what was going on with my vehicle. After doing some research trying to determine who will work on my vehicle; NRP was the choice. Anyway, my vehicle was towed to there shop and it was discovered that it was only my battery. I did not met Harrison or Jayden face to face; all our conversation was via phone call or text. Nevertheless, I felt respected and felt they were both kind and concerned about me as a customer. They were both polite when I spoke with them. Being a female I know most women feel like they can get used by mechanics, but I did not feel that way. I was once a Raleigh Police officer for almost 20 years and moved back to the surrounding area in 2020. So, I'm aware how some businesses can take advantage of women. I've already recommended NRP to my husband who also drives a BMW. Thank you NRP for your kindness, friendliness, and professionalism. You have established one more customer. As long as you continue to be honest and fair with your customers, I pray much success with your business.

  All I can say is WOW! Max and the team are all truly top-notch and HONEST professionals. I purchased aftermarket wheels and new tires for my X5m and was going to have Max install them for me along with having him order some H&R lowering springs as well. I dropped it off to have all of it installed and come to find out, my car already had springs on it from a previous owner. I had absolutely no idea and was completely oblivious to the fact that it was already lowered. Max called and told me the news, to which I was totally shocked and surprised. He said I’m going to send the springs back that I ordered because you obviously don’t need them. He could have easily just took the old ones off and put the new ones on or even just told me that he did it and charged me for it and I would have never known the difference… BUT he didn’t. He was completely honest and forthright about the situation. I dropped my car off thinking I was about to spend $2,000 and ended up picking it up and only spending $181. DO NOT take your BMW anywhere but to North Raleigh Performance if you want professional and honest work done. They are the absolute BEST!
