    Not only can I write a book on how terrible this location and company is, at this point I should be compensated for the entire day. This nightmare of an experience started out at 10:30am om April 18. We needed a can for the week since we are limbo with vehicles. Usually I would reserve a spot but I was like it might be okay if anything, if I needed to make a reservations no big deal. I go into the Hillsborough location and ask if we can have a van.An employee proceeded to tell me that I needed a reservation. Okay, fine, we did that. We got the soonest appointment at the chapel hill blvd location. We get there and we are told they not only have extremely limited reservations, the one and only van they have is recalled. I asked if they would get a van in any time that day. The employee let me know 2 vans were suppose to be in at 2:00 om that day. I needed the car for today. The issue is they close at 2. So I once AGAIN make another reservation at the Hillsborough road location. I go over there to be met by the manager who the informed me they did in fact have a van but I would not be able to get it. It was reserved by someone a week ago. So now I started to get really upset. This last appointment was at 12:30. It has already been 2 hours of me going between locations to try to rent a vehicle that day. So I informed him I understand that but why would the companys website allow me book a reservation knowing I wanted a van in particular. He informed me it’s a website flaw. I told him why would the managers not bubble that up to the top because there are not many options for rental companies in the area. If any of us are needing something same day we are reserving with the understanding that we will go to our reservation and leave with a vehicle. He just shrugged his shoulders and said there was nothing that he could do. So I have spent my one day off of work, going on 5 hours of my life, half a tank of gas in this economy, to be met with zero vehicles and a run around. So I decide to see if I can talk to someone in enterprise corporate. I go to the website to get the 800 number off of the website. I get a man named AJ who said he can try to help locate a vehicle for me after I explained everything. HE ASSURED ME he found a car at Hertz. He asked me for payment ao he could reserve, I gave him my information, he told me he had it reserved for 2:30. I told him no I need it now as it was1:15 and we have been driving around all day. He then goes oh no, wait, it is not there anymore. So now I am already driving 30 mins to another location to be met yet again with NO CAR or resolution. I get to the Hertz location who told me he never made a reservation. So now the number I obtained off ENTERPRISES website has now got me in touch with someone who has my card number, processed a payment, and yet again no car and out of $198. So I then proceed to call the enterprise in Hillsborough road one more time. Someone answered, I explained everything once again, he informed that they DO in fact take walk-ins, and he would send a message to the district manager. All of this transpired between 10:30 am to 1.30 pm. It is now 3:30 om and still NO phone call or car from this company. I am sure that the district manager is enjoying his family unlike I was able to because of this company. At this point I feel like I should be reimbursed for gas and a discount. I should have been promoted to district manager driving around and basically seeing all the cars employees at the 2 locations in Durham. I have yet again made a reservation at enterprise st chapel hill location tomorrow morning in hopes I will eventually get a car. If anyone sees this post and can reply with another reliable rental company, please I am all ears. I do want to note that I think they need to reassess which locations have certain amount of cars. The employees at Chapel hill location are extremely friendly and trying their hardest to accommodate anyone trying to use their company and were deeply apologetic that their location has only 2 vehicles to rent from!

    I booked a truck in advance, but later received a call saying it was unavailable. When I asked if they could refer me to a nearby Enterprise location, I was told they didn’t know and didn’t have time to assist. Instead, I was advised to call other locations myself to check availability and make a reservation. I was also told not to book a vehicle on the same day, which is confusing given that same-day booking is offered as an option. Overall, the experience was disappointing and lacked basic customer support.

    I had a great experience with Enterprise. The staff were very friendly, professional, and efficient throughout the process. Everything was handled smoothly, and I really appreciated their helpful attitude. Overall, it was a very pleasant experience—highly recommended!

    Booked a "Jeep Wrangler" online. Called to confirm it was actually a Wrangler at this location. Was told yes, definitely a Wrangler, not a substitution. Drove 40 minutes to get there, and was told they don't have one. No offer to help us find one somewhere else, nothing. Very frustrated.
