I’ve been a loyal customer at this location for a long time due to its convenience and the usually helpful staff. However, a recent experience with the manager on duty has ensured I won’t be returning. I attempted to return an unopened, $30 tool with my receipt. I was first told that "all tool sales are final"—a policy that does not exist in their official terms. After contacting corporate, the same manager called me back with a dismissive attitude, stating that returns are ultimately at the manager’s discretion. It is disappointing that a long-term customer is treated this way over a simple return. I ended up going to the Advance Auto on East Millbrook, where they processed the return immediately and professionally. If "store policy" depends entirely on who is behind the counter that day, I’d rather take my business elsewhere.

Jerry is a great help. I have known him for years. He remembers my name every time I walk in or call. The whole team delivers a fantastic customer experience. Jerry tells you what you need and when he can get it if it isn't in stock. He is predictable and just the nicest man even when he is under pressure or going in so many directions.

Don’t shop here. They broke someone’s window and won’t take ownership. Plus they are going to use an automated message to comment on this post. Some where along the lines of using this has a training. Shop some where else.

This was one of the worst customer service experiences I’ve ever had. While at the Advanced Auto Parts on Durant Road, an employee cracked my windshield while installing a steering wheel cover. His hand slipped and hit the glass hard enough to cause visible damage the had had cracked the windshield. Instead of owning it or even apologizing, he immediately rushed back inside and hid in the back to avoid facing me. It only got worse from there. I spoke with the manager, Don (who refused to give his full name), and his first response was to deny that it could have happened. Even after showing him the crack and a clear handprint on the windshield, he continued to dismiss it and claim it didn’t come from inside the vehicle. I asked him to file an incident report, and he flat-out refused, telling me to call customer service instead—which was closed since this happened on a Saturday. When I contacted customer service the following Monday, they told me the store manager was supposed to file the report himself—which he never did. I was then contacted by someone named Evan Yaro, who said he was filling in for the District Manager. He acknowledged the situation and told me he would follow up. I went ahead and paid out of pocket to have my windshield repaired and sent him the receipt expecting reimbursement. That was March 25th. I followed up again on April 6th, and again on April 10th—no response. At this point, it’s clear this location has zero accountability. Accidents happen, but the way this was handled—denial, avoidance, and complete lack of follow-through—is unacceptable. If this is how management operates here, I would strongly recommend going elsewhere. I included phots of the damage. The 4th picture was a couple days later while I was taking my car to get the windshield replaced. That total balance was $1271.43 since this type of windshield has sensor. I didn't drive it for the few days in between other then to bring it home and park it in the garage until I took it to get repaired
