- MBmargaret blackOct 8, 20265.0In an attempt to verify the outrageous number & price of auto repairs quoted me by a Lincoln Dealership, I drove to Advance Auto for an OBD2 diagnostic scan which Advance Auto Parts performs for FREE!! The technician who was available was Spencer. He is amazing: pleasant, professional, well-trained, intelligent, respectful and customer-friendly beyond any expectation. He ran the requested OBD2 scan, attempted to resolve the mechanical issue but my auto maker had NOT included the missing apparatus required this repair. Spencer helped me search my car for this New apparatus supposedly in my car. He also checked my battery charge as that was listed as an issue by the dealership. However, according to the battery tool my battery had a healthy charge. Spencer showed me the readings from the machine as the test was being conducted. In addition, I asked Spencer to please direct me to a possible auto repair shop where I could get the needed repair verified by the OBD2 scan. He offered a few names of auto repair shops. The one I chose was totally awesome—- Pep Boys. To finish this review, please allow me to say, Advanced Auto on Western Blvd in Raleigh is THE PLACE TO GO FOR HONEST, professional, Reliable, information & technical assistance & parts for our vehicles.
