As someone who normally rents from airport locations, I had a level of expectation that clearly was not realistic for the local office. I was told that they operate differently, which is definitely the case. In fact, had I arrived at my originally scheduled time, I learned that there would not even have been a car available for me, though I had booked well in advance. Then I was specifically told by the agent that the car I was given did NOT have CarPlay capabilities, so I believed her and was left juggling my phone for navigation for the first few hours of my journey. In hindsight, I should have checked it out for myself immediately because once I realized that CarPlay was available, things got a lot easier. Maybe I just happened in at the wrong days/times, but I was disappointed in the level of customer service. Still, in spite of the stress and difficulty of the experience, I was able to get a decent deal on a car that worked, getting me to my destination and back without incident.
