  Used them last year. The overall price was cheaper.This year much more exspensive. 6 times ive used them. I guess theyre trying to make money on us. Last year gas cost 10 dollars for 4 hrs, and 20 for 8 hours. This year first time was 48 dollars. This time, 68 dollars for 31/2 hours! Never again. Theres other marinas. SAVE YOUR MONEY So Jake at the marina just called me which I appreciate. He says he will give me 50% off my next rental, as he knows Im a good customer. I appreciate this. Im local, and rent frequently. Also, I like honest business people.

  We had booked a boat with another local provider, and unfortunately, they were having mechanical issues with the boat we booked. Thankfully they were able to coordinate with Ocean Isle Marina to get us on a pontoon big enough to accommodate our party of 13. The staff at OIM was pleasant, and the check-in/check-out process was smooth. The facility is very nice/clean, and they offer restrooms and showers to their clientele. They also have a small retail store that sells snacks and drinks in case you forgot anything for your excursion. We'll definitely consider OIM on our next visit to the area!!

  I'm posting this review in genuine good-faith and requesting owner response with transparency. The "no wake zone" postings at your marina visible from the ICWW are NOT recognized by the US Army Corps of Engineers, NC Wildlife Resources Commission, or any other entity that would permit the no wake authorization. Readers can search the NC One Map with GIS data to verify. The signs posted are the equivalent of a "Slow - Children At Play" sign in a residential neighborhood and it is not recognized or enforceable. Your marina leadership relies on bullying and harassment tactics to achieve compliance with your preferences, including (1) sending out staff on a boat to chase and follow passersby (this is incredibly dangerous behavior), (2) allowing or encouraging marina users to blow horns in unnecessary warning, and (3) allowing or encouraging marina users to follow and intimidate other boaters. I am curious what feelings or conditions lead to your marina users and staff feel entitled to behave that way. The Brunswick County commission, Sheriff's Office, and Marine Patrol do not work for you. There is a reason why this past week I witnessed Brunswick's sheriff boat patrolling REAL no wake zones, and not spending their time "protecting" your private business. Everyone on the waterway and in the boating community should lead with safety and courtesy. Your staff and business do not conduct yourself in that way. You rely on confusion and intimidation to get others to do what you want, and ICWW boaters need to know you are in the wrong when you attempt enforcement. I have all of the compassion in the world for the exposure to your valuable assets and I will continue being a courteous boater around your marina. Again, as a good-faith posting, I'm willing to change this review based on owner response.

  How great is this place! The GM knows his clients and this business very well. He runs a tight ship no pun intended. The staff are very professional and care about their jobs. This place is top notch!
