  Go to place for my BMW and Mustang. Frequently go here for oil changes and tires. Real close with the staff as they are all very friendly when I come, and that’s what is most important to me when I come to a car shop nowadays. Hospitality goes a long way in the automotive industry, and when people pay a lot for cars they want to feel like the person working on their car cares as much as the owner. That’s what you find at Mavis in James City. Great work ladies and & gents.

  Driving to Raleigh to catch a flight at 5:45 PM on a Thursday evening and tire pressure light came on. I thought I was sunk. Googled on “tire repair near me” and Mavis Tire came up and open until 8:30. On top of that, over 1,000 positive reviews. Less than 30 minutes and I’m in my way at a very fair price!! I know where my next set of tires are coming from.

  Front brakes. Pads, rotors. Not a long wait. Reasonable price. Great service men. Personable and friendly. That trait makes a difference to any business.

  Loved how easily they explained too me what was wrong with my tire, and they really helped me get the best deal on a new set of tires! The guys there were so nice and really walked me thru everything, while also working with me. High recommend!

  I picked up a nail in my tire and stopped in without much notice, Max and the team took care of it right away. They patched the tire quickly, did a great job, and had me back on the road in no time. Really appreciate the professionalism and efficiency. If you need fast, reliable service, this is the place to go. Highly recommend.
