- CBcorey bowmanMay 8, 20261.0I'm not sure of his name, but the middle aged man with white hair and glasses (that I assume is the manager) is consistently hateful and condescending towards just about everyone I see him interact with. Went in to ask about a replacement for a part that had went bad. He started ranting about how they couldn't help us without knowing or even looking at any detail of our order. Dude wouldn't even let us get a word in so we just walked out and went to the other Advance location on West Pine Street. At that location they were extremely nice and helped us without any issue. Every interaction with this individual has been like this in some way and after seeing how the West Pine Street location treats its customers I probably won't be back at this location.

Signs of a bad car battery can range from the need for frequent jump starts, slow to start, cranks or clicks but won't start, dash lights work but the vehicle won't start, etc.

Brakes work by using friction to turn kinetic energy into heat. There are two designs: drum brakes (older), and disc brakes (newer). Both use hydraulic pressure to move a piston outward. In disc brakes, the piston is located inside a caliper that houses brake pads and fits over the rotor. The friction lining on the pads makes contact with the rotor to slow the vehicle. In drum brakes, the piston moves two curved shoes lined with friction material against the inside of the brake drum.
