Gabby was incredible during my visit, I highly recommend this location. The service is quick and the employees are transparent with services.
Very disappointing experience - What happened to the Grease Monkey I have been using for years for all my cars?
I brought my vehicle to this location a couple of weeks ago for an oil change and state inspection but when I arrived, I was told that the inspector wouldn't be in until after lunch, so got the oil change. Yesterday I went back for the inspection, and the first thing I heard from the inspector was that my battery is getting old (see photo). The second question was when I last replaced my brake fluid, and when I said I didn't know, she told me that the fluid was low and she would have to fail me unless I replaced it.
When we looked at the level (see photo) it was above the manufacturer min level. She insisted it was too low, so I asked to get the manager involved. His response was that this is 100% at the inspector's discretion and he wouldn't do anything for me.
I left, took, took the car to another inspection station and it passed (see photo).
This Grease Monkey had been honest and ethical in all my previous experiences, but clearly something has changed. It looks like I will be needing to find somewhere new.

Absolutely do NOT recommend Grease Monkey. My husband had service here successfully when it was Fast Lube Plus. That is most likely what the 5 star reviews are based off of. This location is no longer a quality car service location. He took one of our vehicles for an oil change less than 2 weeks ago. We now have oil leaking out all over our driveway.
I took a day trip to Greensboro yesterday in this vehicle. The oil is almost empty now! We're lucky to have caught this before major engine damage was done.
We will never do business with Grease Monkey again.
Edit to Add - they failed to tighten the drain bolt. Basic step and no excuse for this.
I am beyond disappointed with the lack of transparency and predatory billing at this shop. I came in to have my front and rear brake pads and front rotors replaced. I was initially quoted a labor rate of $119 for the front, $119 for the rear, and $120 for the rotors—totaling less than $400 for labor.
However, when the bill came, they charged me over $707 just for the brake and rotor labor. They claimed it took 6 hours of work (charging $235.74 per section), despite the fact that my van was only physically inside the shop for 2 hours total. When I pointed out that it is physically impossible to do 6 hours of labor in a 2-hour window, they still insisted on the excessive charges.
When challenged they offered $25 coupon, my total bill (including an oil change) came to $1,089.17. Without the parts.
Charging for three times the amount of time actually spent is dishonest and unethical. I feel completely taken advantage of and will not be returning. Save your money and go to a shop that honors their quotes and bills honestly.

First visit in the mid morning to get a state inspection: "Our inspector only works after 12:30."
Second visit in the mid afternoon to get a state inspection: "Our inspector did not come in today."
Third visit in the mid afternoon to get a state inspection: "I'm about to go on my lunch break, can you come back in an hour?"
No I can't come back in an hour and I won't be back ever again. I've already wasted too much time with this place to not get service.
