I had a wonderful all-day trip with Captain Tyler and his crew on the Carolina Princess today. Plenty of space on the bow for fishing and they were very helpful for this casual tourist who only gets out once a year. They handled the shark I pulled in skillfully. The Captain came down to show us how it’s done and hauled in the biggest snapper I’ve ever seen on his 2nd or 3rd cast. He even handed off his rod so I could keep fishing when the shark took my tackle. Saved us a lot of work cleaning today’s catch so we could enjoy them for our dinner after a long day on the water.

Cancelled 2 days in advance because of bad weather. The weather is perfectly fine and had the least chance of rain all week.

By far the best headboard I've been on. Weather was amazing. From the lady that answered the phone to the captain down to the 2 mates everyone was nice respectful and very helpful. Recommend going on this boat and enjoy catching fish and relaxing. I even saw some fish caught that I had never seen before and I caught a few I had never caught before. Broke off a fish , lost a couple. Seen Mahi Mahi hit and jump off seen a big fish at the back of the boat either a wahoo or barracuda but it wasn't hungry. Seen schools of Spanish on the way out . It was a enjoyable day. Book a trip you wont be disappointed.

The crew was fantastic, but the captain never introduced himself and never gave a safety talk or any instructions before getting underway. The rod holders didn't have numbers on them, which caused a lot of confusion right off the bat. The boat was also very cramped and the benches (if you were lucky enough to have a spot with a bench) were so small and uncomfortable. They could definitely use some padding and more handrails around the vessel. It was also concerning to see young children without lifejackets, but considering how hot it was, it was probably safer for the kids not to wear them. I wish they would provide umbrellas or anything to provide shade. The cabin was always packed and the shaded spots were few and far between. 11 hours of direct sunlight was brutal and not for the faint of heart. I would not recommend to older folks or young children. That being said, we did get put on some fish and overall we had a great time, but be prepared to be extremely hot and uncomfortable if you are going out in the summer.
