I have also seen the employees go out of their way to be kind and respectful to everyone, regardless of their background, race, creed, or color. If you are reading this review to try to determine if you should do business here, let me assure you there are no better parts stores, and perhaps you should disregard the opinions of "customers" who are afraid to leave their last names, and conveniently leave out how they were parked in a handicapped space, blasting loud music, and immediately tried to place a race card when confronted about parking in a reserved space.

Brakes work by using friction to turn kinetic energy into heat. There are two designs: drum brakes (older), and disc brakes (newer). Both use hydraulic pressure to move a piston outward. In disc brakes, the piston is located inside a caliper that houses brake pads and fits over the rotor. The friction lining on the pads makes contact with the rotor to slow the vehicle. In drum brakes, the piston moves two curved shoes lined with friction material against the inside of the brake drum.
