  They told my wife that her FWD 2020 Sienna needed rear differential oil changed for $100. A front wheel drive Sienna HAS NO rear differential, which they refused to admit, but can easily be confirmed online and in the owner's manual. It's our 1st bad experience there, but it's a dealbreaker for me.

  Manager Jeremy Berg would not change the oil in our Genesis GV80, said it involved too much work. The previous manager had no problem changing the oil in our Genesis. Will take my five vehicles else where for service

  During my oil change, I was told both of my license plate lights were out and that I needed to replace them to avoid getting a ticket. I declined the service. When I checked them that night, both lights were working perfectly. I’m not sure if it was a misunderstanding about how daytime running lights work or an attempt to upsell me, but either way, it wasn’t a good experience. As a woman, it also made me wonder if they assumed I wouldn’t check for myself. A little more training on how daytime running lights work could help avoid unnecessary repair recommendations and build more trust with customers.

  Always trying to sell you what you don't need. I had to purchase a $28.00 wiper blade in order to pass inspection. The blades on the truck were just replaced 3 months prior by O'Reilly. The windshield was just dirty. Only one blade was needed? I couldn't argue because he said it would fail inspection if I didn't replace. I was also having the oil changed and was told they didn't have enough of the oil I use to change it and I would have to use the more expensive oil this is after they had already drained my oil out.After I argued for a bit he gave me a "discount" on the more expensive oil. Again no choice. I have used Valvoline for more than 15 years for my oil change needs. The one in Asheville for 10 and this one in Mills River for 5. Now it's a shame I will be finding someone else to service my 3 vehicles. It's not just because they try to push on sales it's that they don't give you a choice you either do it or else your stuck.

  I take all of my vehicles to the Mills River NC Valvoline location exclusively- they are always friendly and they always provide outstanding service. They also recommend services via Carfax without pressure (which is pretty damn sweet- nobody likes to be pressured into extra services when times are tight already).
