The employees were efficient, courteous, and kind. I had an inspection and and oil change in less than 20 minutes. This was my first time here, but I will be back.

I’ve only had great experiences with Strickland Brothers. Wait is never long and the staff are very professional and informative. The coupons are also a plus!

0 stars would be clicked if possible, but you decide. After having an oil service and parking the vehicle at home a puddle of fluid was noticed once I had to return to work. Wife called and told me so I also checked the spot I park at work, which also had a puddle and this is when I also noticed the sticker allotted only 3k until my next service vs the 6k I have recieved before and is recommended by Subaru. Logical conclusion I came to as a former auto industry manager, a mishap occurred during the oil service. Things happen, surely the company will take accountability and make it right. After work completed I check and top off oil to ensure I can make the trip back to this location. Typically I've been greeted when waiting in line, this didn't happen when I arrived. It also didn't happen when I was finally directed to pull into the bay, this hasn't been my usual experience. The employee who directed me in and walked away then came back several minutes and immediately went to the rear of my vehicle to get my tag, still no greeting. As he made his way to the front I was sure he would stop and say something, no, I had to stop him as he rounded the front of my vehicle to tell him why I was there. He said he would take a look. After going under my vehicle he went outside and made a call, several minutes later he came back and said he did see fluid blown back and on the transmission but the engine drain plug seemed fine. Because of my background I know that on this model the engine and transmission drain plug are pretty close to eachother. So I immediatley asked if it's possible the person draining my engine oil accidently cracked the wrong drain plug initially before realizing it, he agreed that was a possibility and I asked him to check. He went back under, verified it had been loosened and was the cause of the leak and mess, and tightened the plug again. On some drain plugs you can retighten if loosened and no worries, however this is a one time use gasket and won't seal back properly if attempted to be reused. I asked for a manager and was told he would be there the next morning but there was nothing else this employee could do. So, attempted to have a conversation with Tyler, the manager, the next morning. Tyler is not an appropriate person to be representing any company. He is misogynistic, aggressive, and has an inability to have an adult conversation without getting loud and speaking over you whilst accepting no responsibilty or even acknowledgment that a mistake can happen. "His technicians don't make mistakes" After yelling over me and saying that the employee who helped the day before wasn't even a technician so I cant believe what he told me he stormed away and said you can call corporate but he isn't dealing with this shit anymore. Then he wouldn't provide a phone number or verify his name for the complaint. After finding that info corporate was called, in short- information was asked and provided with an answer that a claim was opened and someone would be in contact within 48 hours. 48hrs have passed and no contact. The transmission had to be serviced as it is a closed system with no dipstick to verify proper level. Just under 2qrts had leaked out and the local shop who took care of this concern voiced that they see a lot of issues from this SB location. You can tell a lot by a company when things go wrong, this company is loudly telling me they don't care about making things right with the people who ultimately provide their paychecks. This situation happened when I managed a shop, I immediatley got their driveway cleaned, vehicle repaired properly, initial refund of failed service provided

Deterrion was fantastic, he was honest, friendly & assured me that what I wanted would be done. Anthony was in the pit and changed the oil and was vibing to the music which made the atmosphere very good. I expressed to Deterrion that I would not be going back to the graham strickland brothers because they lost my trust when charging me for a service they never did. So I recommend the Mebane location! Well done guys.
Subject: Unauthorized Filter Removal, False Upsell Attempt, and Careless Reinstallation
*UPDATE*
I’m updating my review after attempting to resolve an issue caused during my last visit. The Area Manager did call and leave a voicemail, but the only thing offered was a 50% off coupon, which feels like a dismissal, being that he only addressed the upsale concern nothing about the potential damages. I returned the call and left a voicemail of my own, but I have not received any response since. I also emailed their customer service representative directly, and she has likewise failed to reply.
At this point, it’s hard to see this as anything other than intentional avoidance. The company appears to be refusing to acknowledge or take responsibility for the technician’s negligent reinstallation of my cabin air filter — installed upside down, causing debris to fall into the blower. I asked for a point of contact and clear instructions on what I should do if any damage becomes apparent. Instead of addressing that, they’ve gone silent.
The service is fine until they make a mistake. Once they do, they ghost you.
If any issues arise with my blower or HVAC system as a result of their negligence, I’ll have no problem pursuing the legal route for all damages. I gave them every opportunity to handle this professionally, and they chose not to respond.
*********
I brought my vehicle in for a routine state inspection. I advised that I do not need any other service other than the inspection.
Without my request or authorization, the technician pulled both the cabin air filter and the engine air filter for inspection.
The technician then tried to sell me a new engine air filter, claiming it needed replacement because it was yellow. This filter is designed to be yellow — it’s the factory air filter color, not a sign of wear — and I had personally replaced it only two oil changes ago.
This felt like a dishonest upsell attempt on a part that didn’t need replacing.
The cabin air filter was genuinely dirty and did need replacement. I told the technician I’d handle that myself. Instead of simply leaving it as-is, the tech reinstalled it upside down, which dumped accumulated dirt and debris directly into the blower motor housing — creating a problem that didn’t exist before I brought the car in.
